One last question, can you tell me what's the differene between core mod merge and extended mod merge. Not sure which one to use.

MCMM and MEMM are not old and new, they have different intents and can be used separately or together. MCMM adds a lot of mods that do not change classes, MEMM does change classes.

Ah thanks so 1 is for the older one while 2 is for the newer one. I'm tryin to figure what to use in order to make them work. I was thinking to use FEP+ and Variant Classes too with arcana and your mods.

They are for two different mods, this one is for MCMM , the other is for MEMM

What's the difference between extended mod merger 1 and 2 ? I'm trying to get it to work with Unearthed Arcana.

Yeah, went back to my synergies load order and everything was fine, so not screwed at least. As soon as I put your load order back in, it crashes ever time. Turns out loading only Unearthed does the same. Replaced the .MOD file for that and it's still crapped out. Oh well.

I'm sure you're not upkeeping this, but thought I'd post anyways.

Tried to load this, and can't load modded games now. It crashed directly after deleting an old character, if that helps. Tried to restore my character load data from a backup, now it just goes to the first splash screen and no further. Still futzing with it, but I hope this didn't break my modsaves for some reason. Don't know how/why it would. Regular game works, of course.

There will be incompatibilities between Synergies and UA, my packs only resolve the conflicts between my mod and either Synergies or UA. There is no resultion for conflicts outside the scope / files of my mod.

Even for the ones in my mod, if both Synergies and UA are affected, there is no resolution that considers both changes, they are meant exclusively for my mods and UA or my mods and Synergies, not my mods with UA + Synergies all at once.

So I would not recommend using all three at once, there definitely will be some conflicts remaining. They probably are not severe though (never tried however), chances are you will be missing something from one mod or the other, based on the load order you use.

Beats me what that was. I am certain I didn't have that issue when I uploaded the latest MEMM version, but when I started MCMM and MEMM now I crashed too.

After building a new mod and gradually adding all of MEMM to it in order to locate the crash, that new mod did not crash despite me not changing any files....

So I rebuilt MEMM, verified that I do not crash with it and uploaded it again...

Ahh, I pinpointed the crash issue. MCMM and MEMM together crashes the game (MEMM then MCMM in load order). No other mods.

Without the comppacks ? As far as my experience goes, yes, but then that is true for UA with the comp packs too....

Hasn't solved my issues, but thanks for looking into it regardless. I'll shelve this for now and just go back to MCMM. Does MEMM work on top of it with no problems?

Also found a bug with UA that affects my enjoyment (damage taken seems to be massively reduced), so that can wait.

Ok, downloaded the two comp packs from here and compared them to what I have on the local drive.

The MEMM version was different, so I rebuilt it and uploaded it. Try again with that one, as it works for me this hopefully solves your issue.

The version posted on Sep13th and edited on Oct13th (second post in thread). 91.9MB. Using the exact order specified, and no other mods enabled for now.

Crashing on game load, once you hit the ingame loading screen (before you reach the main menu).

Which version of UA are you using ? I just tried and had no issues.

Are you using the right order, ie UA at the bottom, MEMM2 Comp Pack at the top ?

Are you crashing right away or in a specific location ?

UA doesn't crash, MCMM w. UA and the Compat. Pack doesn't crash. MEMM w. UA and the Compat. Pack doesn't crash. All five together? Crash. Hope this helps! Log files show nothing, even with extra logging :orb:

I have mods 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 and nothing else, and TL2 keeps on crashing. All existing saves deleted. Goes away when I remove UA (and the compat. mods). You seen this before?

This pack has "MCMM Synergies Compatibility Pack" as its display name. Its description is about Unearthed Arcana and its filename is "mcmm_uac.mod"
