just to mention that there is a small error on the "XCOMWeaponSkinReplacer.ini" file.
The last line (57) is missing a " on the termination.
reads: INVENTORY_IMAGE="img:///UILibrary_LW_Coilguns.TECH_AdvancedCoilWeapons)
Should be: INVENTORY_IMAGE="img:///UILibrary_LW_Coilguns.TECH_AdvancedCoilWeapons")

The " before )

Outside of that the mods works very well.
Just wish there was a way to scale the weapons a notch down.

This mod does not modify hunter rifles. Is that a planned feature similar to how the LW weapons are turned into their respective variants?

If you use the AML, you can remove '-review' from the launch arguments and the game will launch in testing mode. When you go to start a new campaign, Debug Strategy Start should be available. That campaign will have every item in the game in your inventory for you to look through.

it was a conflict with "weapons and item overhaul", but only with assault rifles

All the advanced Coil research projects share the same image. There were only two research projects in the original Long War 2 (Coil and Advanced Coil) so I used the Advanced one for all three advanced projects.

Assault Rifle not renaming sounds like a conflict with another mod: if you have something else changing the localisation entries for beam weapons, it may be taking priority.

Yes. This mod is all config. If you delete the lines in all the files referring to SparkRifle_BM, it won't change the SPARK rifle any more.

It turned out to just be one letter. Some Coil weapon templates use _CG as their suffix and some mods use _CL. The SMG reskin had the wrong one, so it didn't work.

The smg's are displayed as coil guns in engineering but once built they turn back into the plasma smg while all other guns are coil variants. Any idea how I could fix this? At this point I'm so far in the campaign that I'm not restarting to fix bugs though so probably just continue with this error present.

Hey, I use the LW2 secondaries, and tier 3 sawed off, by deafult, is a plasma/beam weapon. I was wondering if you could bring the Mag Shorty back as well? Thanks a million for this mod btw.

Pistol attachments are a mod thing. I'm pretty sure Coil and Laser don't have default attachments for pistols. I think Coil pistol attachments exist, but they were made separately by different point.

@pangaiwthsrx8 Welp, he's updating his laser pack, so I'd say so. His update speed is gonna be tied to Iridar releasing his new weapons. As of today, the lasers are up to date, and there aren't any coil weapons yet.

That mod adds underbarrel attachments to the _CL set of weapons. This makes the _BM set of weapons look like the _CL set of weapons. You'd need to modify the configuration of that mod to add them to _BM weapons instead of _CL weapons.

btw, regarding weapon skin replacer, any idea how to use that to make all advent rifles shoot like the priest rifle?
I saw Beague do that in one of his campains and it made the advent troopers a lot more intimidating with that rapid fire barrage.

Found the problem! I forgot that Reduced XCOM and Alien FX both use WSR -- once I deactivated those this works like a charm.
