You would have to look it output log and see if there is an error. Also also, if you're using other mods, they may also have dependencies

Hi, uhm is it normal that i enable expanded ports and expanded convoys and shipping lanes and load 10 minutes into a new game and it doesnt work?

a general guidance would be any mod which has dependencies should come last. dependencies should load first

so by that logic, using the mods you listed

1. ports expanded 2. expanded ship names 3. Convoy & shipping

Yes I see the ports. I made this comment based off of your screenshots and hadn't loaded the mod yet. Well whatever I am using right now has the ports I mentioned.

... Might want to check Ube instead, which has one of the ports you mentioned. Furthermore, this mod will be losing support in the future with the full release of the game

they function like other ports (depending on what other mods you have) - eg. Missions are not provided by this mod.

No, this mod only adds the infrastructure for other mods to work off of them. It does very little on its own

Ok, I see. I noticed that there were added airfields at various places in the med on the map, so I hoped that there would be air attacks there. Great mod anyways

This mod is incompatible with ube due to it being a component of UBE already installing both will corrupt the game state. Do not install components of UBE with UBE proper.

See you intend to use you both expanded. Read the installation guide listed in the mod description

Working on trying to build the mod in such a way that each component works on its own
- however it quickly becomes a game of which missing mod dependency is causing this bug.
I will try to write in the changes so that this is clear while not breaking everything.

again, the preferred method is a UBE install. while I know many players don't want all of the features in UBE, I am also working on a way to disable some features selectively via settings/datasheet patches so that I can retire these mods and not have to deal with the heart ache of trying to get 6 standalone mods to work properly.

U-30/31 had to get moved back to a later date due to vanilla missions not working that early.

There are many problems configuring these mods as standalone as there are just too many inter dependencies with other expanded mods, where as Ube is bundled as one package

When you start a new game you get stuck in a loading loop! Save game works!

UE:U-31/32 has disappeared from the selection!

If you want to start a campaign at a custom port, you must also install expanded missions (and its dependencies) to provide data for those ports

you just spammed all of my mods (and others) asking the same question over and over again, when the majority of these mods:
state in the title they are compatible with 2022.1,
state in their mod manifest (you see this in the game launcher) that they are compatible
state in the description & change logs that they are compatible

so forgive me if I find it a bit annoying when there are all of these different places for you to find out, and I am getting notified repeatedly of the same message in 10+ mod pages.

granted not every mod states it in the same manner. but for the most part people can determine this on their own.

What port are you at when you request a mission?

Custom ports won't have any missions available because there's no mission data provided for them

Also, depending or not if you use expanded missions that are dependencies for the grid system to be correct using the expanded kriegsmarine grid system mod.

Anyone else unable to start an assignment when this mod is installed? Any time I try to accept one nothing happens.

I'll see if I can do some testing around this, otherwise I'll either need additional reports from other players and output logs

Furthermore, my experience users should not be getting a blue screen from an application crashing.

Blue screens usually happen at an OS and hardware level like a memory exception or a hardware fault. Well, chain of events could originate from unity doing something the cause is likely not from the game or from the mod

Yeah thats what I thought as well and even removed the most recent 2 mods I installed but still got the crashing even with new games, the only thing that 'So far' has worked was turning this mod off. Will be interested if this happens with others?
I'm still looking to see if something else was causing it, but the only change since I last saved before these issues was the update to this mod.

I had to remove one of the files from the mod

There could be an issue with previous saves which had that file are not saving properly

However, new games using this mod should still be okay.

Hey. I think your update broke the game when trying to save. Whenever I tried to save the game would crash my PC (blue screen) even when a new career with Cache and data folders cleared etc, whenever I tried to save-Boom crash!
Reason I have narrowed it to this mod is I have turned it off in the launcher and a new career and presto I can save. Just an FYI and maybe something others may have come across?

@Albert Kesselring (10th Armee) Well, if you would look at the "Custom Install of UBE Components" (which contain the individual mods that make up UBE) you would see that UBE already contains that mod.
