And about tunnel, it a must because of optimization..
i tested the map once with 80 or 100 players and spamming many props around the map and the result was my fps got cut by half, i was running with around 50 fps
theres only very few portals on the map far as i remember, its the swers of corse and the tunnel between two cities
its optimization isnt based off portals, mostly it made up of very balacned visleafs amount and the use of models for complex brushes(like all stairs in map) and the use of FarZ, displancemants, merged visleafs to optimal size, few more tricks
i copied valve's optimisation style of L4D2 very large maps after seeing how they did it
just to let you know, portals arent for large open maps like this or like L4D big maps

The map is a masterpiece, I admire it, but I would like the source of the map for custom modifications. Naturally pointing the original card
Any idea how this can happen?
(Yesterday I was idling on gm_flatgrass and it created a demo, me entering that gm_flatgrass map, and the demo was called rp_downtown2020.dem)
When I unsubscribed to your map (rp_downtown2020) the demo creating issue stopped.
I have no keys binded to anything related to recording or stopping demos in GMOD.
