Okay, thank you for the info - you're right the weapons are super good for kenshi lol. Wasn't sure if you made the models for the ones unique to this mod, it's a bit of a headache to figure out the rights/rules of use to all of them + the ones from the other weapon packs.

@Potato They are all original models repurposed for Kenshi, so all rights belong to them. Not sure on the other mods, I just shamelessly added to this because they looked and felt very Kenshi-esque. New quality levels are also simply contrasts and albedos shifted and moved with an attempt to mold them in the lore without breaking immersion.

Can I use the models in this mod for making a weapon mod in a different game? Not sure who owns the rights or if anyone would mind since this mod is a compilation of 2 other mods + original content, but thought I'd ask first.

shame. i almost downloaded this mod, until I saw it keeps the terrible-looking metal fan weapon -- the "Tessen". I'd love a version without that awful piece of eye cancer

@TWD_SimoHaya I can confirm Triangle Bandits feel balanced to me as well.
Their weapons aren't so powerful as to force a player to use them, their outfits are only useful in the extreme earlygame, and the variety and challenge they present in combat is always a welcome break from the constant hordes of starving bandits.

@Pandorable I never had any issues with balance at all while playing with my mod installed. Their weapons and armor are okay but nothing game-breaking; the raids are somewhat hard to fend off, but I always had more trouble with Black Ninjas than Triangle Bandits. I'd like confirmation on this issue from others, because removing the Bandits would also mean removing their iconic weapons.

This mod is very interesting, but sadly its inclusion of the triangle bandits is enough to make me uninstall. Triangle bandits are enemies with combat skills in the mid-40s who hang around the Border Zone and adjacent low-level zones; they are extremely bad for balance.

@zeMantras I've slightly improved the lore, names, locations and dialogues of the Triangle Bandits. Its a step towards removing them from the mod altogether, should be done by next update.

@Shai-Hulud ....i don't know exactly what you mean with "hilt is different", but I agree that the texturing has some mistakes. I've corrected it and should deploy an updated model with better (but different) texturing. Should improve your experience.

@AnthonyFiveSixFouR Phoenixsmith weapons are exclusive to the Holy Nation, as a rare loot. Skeleton City has the others, but because its so rare you will have to be patient and keep checking every item refresh.

@MGJ Sakazaki Hi there. Lore-wise, manufacturers in this mod are mostly related to how good they are with their skill in manufacture, their accessibility to good or bad materials/infrastructure and/or their production scalability.

That is why you have manufacturers such as Prim making low-level Catun weapons, Chain being incredibly wild in quality depending on how old the weapon is, Council weapons using the opposite reasoning (more councils = more sharing of knowledge), lots of middle-of-the-road Mk I - Mk III smiths with wildly different bonuses because its perhaps the apex of Kenshi's experience when you start finding weapons of this quality, several Edge-quality smiths, Phoenixsmiths and three Prismatic Smiths for one step-below Meitou quality, and finally, the Skysmiths which STILL do not have Meitou-quality weapons, but have much lighter models. All manufacturers are supposed to be 100% vanilla-friendly and lore-wise accurate.

Good mod, but, why so many manufacters?
I thought that manufacturers were related to the first group that made use of that kind of material in their weapons.
Ancient is old iron/steel/bronze?
Catun is iron/bronze weapons
Skeleton is steel
Edge maybe refined/folded steel
Cross(?) unkown material or ore from another planet or a truly advanced process.

@BatsDark Prime LFW didn't balance their weapons well enough, and some of their designs feel a little lazy; it serves its purpose as the title says because its thematic, but not quite stat-wise.

I don't understand how my mod could be patched with Living World; its not a weapon mod.

Mainly just with Living World and Lore Friendly Weapons which if I could make a suggestion, if you were ever looking to expand the selection even more? Look into that mod, very high quality and would make a fine addition to this.
