Report a translation problem
1. Add uneven Sizes (3x3, 5x5 maybe even 1x3, 2x5 etc.)
2. Either add an Indicator of orientation or use the "Wide LCD Panel" as Basic as this has an built in function to change the orientation

Any chance there could be other sizes added?
2x3 and 3x3 would be super useful for ships with odd numbered widths and to match the windows of these sizes

Does it matter where on the grid it is placed?
I do have plans to make differently sized ones, the limitation is LCD image resolution. The larger the banner, the lower the resolution per area and it looks pretty bad pretty quick.
And yes, more or less. That's just how the transparent LCD handles it tbh. But because the banner LCDs are intended to be placed flat on ground it doesn't matter that much.
Also I have an unrelated suggestion: how about giant 3x3 and 5x5 banners?
Aaand another unrelated question - is the image supposed to be flipped when looking from behind? (by flipped I mean it's the 'right' way when viewed from both sides)
Could you post a screenshot? I'm not sure I can do anything about it tbh because the only influence I have on that is the collision model and that isn't really any different from any other flat block.
Hmm, that might be an issue with the hitbox. I'll look into it, but can't promise a patch anytime soon. In the meantime you'll just have to tone down your subgrid shenanigans. :P

Hm, that's interesting. I'll investigate this. Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that the setting that I use to not make the block consume any power somehow also control whether the block can be owned. That sounds a bit strange, but it's Keen so who knows. :P
They should support them the same way that normal LCDs do yeah. :)
I'm most likely going to add a 3x3. Unsure I'm gonna go as large as 5 to one side tbh, we'll see. It's not on my immediate list either way - I need to finish up some other mods first.
Currently also planning for one covering a half block to make people able to paint those nice safety stripes onto the floor.
