I saw your note about the mod, i feel kinda frustrated that i have to use weapon core. i dont play often but ive spent hours today fixing my single player shit because every mod needs it now and then others like yours got left in the dust kind of. hopefully shit gets better eventually

Hey Kreeg, great stuff here, outta curiosty, are the lance weapons continuously firing beams by design choice? might just be my own headcannon, but ive always pictured them more along the lines of the effects shown in BFG armada, or the pulsar weapons in homeworld 2, or the lascannon effect in the Dawn of war games-if your familiar with any of those, short burn time, and a more lengthy cooldown, would that sorta effect be possible?- not asking you to do it, purely to satisfy my curiosity, as someone who likes to tinker and has a little bit of c# experience, i might be able to effect the changes for my own personal consumption!
also curious how much of a PITA it is rigging the turrets? playing with the idea of maybe doing some predator tank turrets

yeah mb here let give more detail. it told me that wc had a hard crash during block init due to there being a problem with one of the files called k_ChaosLegionary_Macro_Turret_Small. hopefully that helps a little bit

OH! Not the answer I was expecting given the Imperium uses physical ordinance. I would have thought you would add Macro Rounds. Macrocannons are simply the largest form of Imperial Autocannon after all. Of Course you would then need to add a port for conveyor tubes to arm them if that were the case... I did say I was Daft however so I totally missed that ALL of them were

Repaired Mod.

Chaos:

- Macro Battery Model Replaced
- Plasma Cannon Model Replaced
- Broadside Lance Model Replaced & Beam Visual Upgrade
- Lance Battery Beam Visual Upgrade
- Missile Trail Improved

Light Macro Turret Model Replaced, AI system glitched, due for more repairs.

My freaking hero! His Majesty stopped developing his 40k weapons and i thought that was the end for 40k in SE. Have you thought about making some smaller/smallish weapons for the larger Imperial/Space Marine fighters/dropships, like the StormRaven or Thunderhawk?

I used to.
Then the Projectiles stopped syncing in MP, and got silenced audio, unless it was a gat.
Which means only 1 Barrel allowed

That makes sense! Could you also 'fake' a lance effect by using a regular kinetic projectile with very high velocity and just have a visual effect that looks like a lance/beam, hypothetically? It'd be a cheap workaround but I might test it myself!

Without WeaponCore; Lasers don't function properly, I've run most Energy scripts.
The Rockets, being homing is pretty much just WC at the moment.
Lasers requiring Scripts of some kind is mostly why a lot of the WC lacks proper Lasers without being attached to a framework

If they're too fundamentally built around weaponcore then no worries! Just cant find a good option for lance turrets on the workshop outside of this mod - the only other 40k 'lance turret' upload has rocket projectiles, which is.. Odd.

@Kiwipie they are only found by looking them up and they use the gun mag as their image.

@Kreeg This was the one I was talking about being early beta with no convayer port on the weapons that are not energy based.

After trying to use this mod, I cannot see any of the weapons in the block menu. I have loaded just weapon core and this mod, and I cannot see any of the items this mod adds. Am I missing something?

Repaired: Weapons now fire, and Damage was fixed in Weaponcore, so damage values re-adjusted.
Turret AI ranges have now also been synced to their weapon-ranges, so they can engage at the intended ranges.

Okay, just noticed that some of the Control/Cam Viewing is also a Little bit Glichted, but take your time, Rome wasnt build in 1 Day either so take as much time as you need ^^

Well, It's on an older build of WeaponCore, so I need to swap out the old sections
- And that's me assuming the Weapons' have no terminal controls or visuals to the Right-side of Window.

I shall likely do this bit, today \ tomorrow.
So I can dedicate time, to ensuring it works.
