I tried what you told me, it didn't work. The model became horribly disfigured and I'm not sure why, I'm also not motivated enough to investigate further. If there is a comprehensive guide on how to convert the ValveBiped skeleton to the C_Model skeleton, I'll do this again. But there isn't one right now.

I always took note of that about a lot of viewmodels.

The high quality world models might be tough because many of the CSS viewmodels are missing polygons in places you can't see. I would have to add them myself and I'm not good enough at blender to do that

It was something I heard said, so I would take it with a grain of salt, but chances are that he likely aligned the C_Hands bones in the Original hand bones and made sure everything lined up, then he made sure they moved with the OG Hands, and then made the OG Hands invisible (likely A. Removing all external polys, but kept the bones he lined up with the original C_Hands or B. Likely applied some kind of invis texture)

again, I believe I heard this secondhand, but you're free to give it a shot.

I heard Seaal Mid had a method for making C_Hands work that involved making the original hands invisible and then having the original hands "puppet" the C_Hand bones.

I couldn't ever get it to work sadly, the anims work off an entirely different animation system, and getting them to work with the c_hands system would require re-rigging, which is not my forte.

If you do port them however, they might make the viewmodels in gmod inverted because they are automatically inverted because of cl_righthand

1. probably have the knowledge, no time or drive
2. There is a file in a decompiled .mdl file. This is a QC file, it lets you manipulate some things about the model before compiling the model.

Unfortunately, the only way to increase the FOV with these models would be to alter the models themselves and move them farther out. Maybe you can do this with a QC command or something. Viewmodel_fov not working with this addon is very strange, though.

Will the FOV ever be increased or is there a way to manually do so with this addon? Because in the original mod the FOV was different than the FOV on this version.
