weapons do not appear on the ship

Oh indeed... I found your ships and upvoted them (not because I know you but rather because they are good... I would slag you off straight to the face if they weren't... I'm kind of anti social).

You wanna talk naval history/ship design? I need my fix
Reverend Revenant 9 Jan, 2020 @ 11:29am
Also pretty sure the Belfast carried torpedoes. And if we're being pedantic, which I find all in good fun, Vertical Launch System uses cells not racks :P

Bottom line: I like the ship, and it's yet another unique naming convention/classing convention on SE workshop 2/2
Reverend Revenant 9 Jan, 2020 @ 11:29am
Yeah yeah I know, but it's a poor comparison regardless cause the mod refers to them as battleship cannons, but it was pointedly in reference to how heavily armed this ship appears

I mean, also spacecraft to oceanbound ships, and that's a whole 'nother kettle of worms but the Iowa's (my favorite comparison) post 80's refit had 4 Phalanx CIWS units, several Harpoon AShMs, Tomahawks, as well as their originally installed 406 mm 3x3 rifles. Which the Mk3 is 3 gun, so already it's more heavily armed than the most heavily armed battleships of yore.

And obviously it was hyperbole to say more guns than America, but call me old fashioned but a light assault cruiser shouldn't be bristling with weaponry, and yes I'm aware light isn't tonnage per se but armament size, pointedly 152 mm usually 1/2

HMS Belfast
Town Class Light Cruiser
Armament:
1939:
12 × 6-inch (152 mm) Mk XXIII guns (4×3)
12 × 4-inch (102 mm) Mk XVI dual purpose guns (6×2)
16 × 2-pounder (40 mm) anti-aircraft guns (2×8)
8 × 0.5-inch (13 mm) AA machine guns (2×4)
6 × 21-inch (533 mm) torpedo tubes (2×3)

:hmm:

@MultipedSet1963
the build is still useable without the DLC blocks. the only real ones you have to replace for airtightness is the windows on the prow.
MultipedSet1963 20 Dec, 2019 @ 12:01pm
Could you get this Assault Cruiser not have any DLCs in it... If that is possible please msg me back
novoscorp 20 Dec, 2019 @ 1:28am
@Const. I'm liking the theme of blueprints you got here ! :) Wouldn't it be cool if these ships went up against the Covent ?
Const  [author] 18 Dec, 2019 @ 11:14am
@ViccyQ
Yes, coined light, as stated in Notes, is due to how weaponcore classifies things.

and if we take a look at ww2 light cruisers, my cruiser is comparatively armed. with missiles, instead of torpedo tubes
ViccyQ 18 Dec, 2019 @ 10:35am
Light Assault Cruiser...ok bro.
