Hi @MaYHeM(tl), unfortunately you might be right sorry but if the game works fine without this mod it might be best to play without it. You can always manually increase the insurance limit yourself if need be as it'll at least let you use more of the stock providers.
Head here:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ProjectHospital\ProjectHospital_Data\StreamingAssets\Database, edit tweakables.xml, change the line:
<GameDBTweakableInt ID="TWEAKABLE_MAX_INSURANCE_COMPANIES"> <Value>3</Value> </GameDBTweakableInt> to whatever you'd like (i guess 5 to match the number of agencies normally). If you get Infectious Disease DLC or Tramua DLC, you'll need to edit the same field in the DLC files too (e.g. Project Hospital\ProjectHospital_Data\StreamingAssets\Addons\DLCInfectiousDiseases).

@Sleepy068: Thanks a lot for your support anyway. Maybe my hardware just isn't compatible with the game and the mod. Still, thanks!!!
Sleepy068  [author] 25 Feb @ 12:34am
@Mayhem
Usually the log would have this:
"Crash!!! SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath:" and a large stack trace output (e.g. https://imgur.com/QcRAXsT ). In the location you found the output.log, is there a folder called Crashes? E.g. C:/Users/Administrator/AppData/Local/Temp/Oxymoron Games/Project Hospital/Crashes? Are you getting any feedback from the computer or does the game just close?

I did remove DLCs so I could match the ones you have and even tried playing in German just to be sure but everything worked as intended. Unfortunately this might not be something I can fix as I just can't find any issues within the mod xml or replicate the problem sorry.
Sleepy068  [author] 25 Feb @ 12:34am
Hey @Mayhem, thank you so much for the log but I can see in the log that the game doesn't appear to be crashing by itself. I am wondering if an external issue might be causing the crash ( hardware, os, etc). One odd thing is Begin MonoManager ReloadAssembly for you is taking about 10000% longer to load the usual (usually 0.045 seconds but yours is 3.114 seconds). Same with UnloadTime, very long processing times compared to both my log and other users logs I have. Might be nothing but please make sure you've tried a clean install.
MaYHeM(tl) 24 Feb @ 10:05pm
Today I have a crash again.
This is my log file: https://pastebin.com/h15m3y8s
Thx!
Sleepy068  [author] 15 Feb @ 7:11pm
Hey @Mayhem(tl), any luck on the log? I played around quite a bit today and I didn't have any crashing issues and could use the mod as intended. https://imgur.com/ns16jnx
If you do get the chance, maybe try doing a clean install of the game or at the least, verify game cache. The mod is super simple so I honestly cannot see how it'd cause the issue described but if you have to go without this mod because it is causing you issues, you can always change the tweakables file in the game folder to change the insurance company limit yourself. The only real difference is your game wont have the 2 companies I added but you'd at least be able to expand your intake quite a bit by making that adjustment.
Sleepy068  [author] 15 Feb @ 10:15am
Hi @MaYHeM(tl), the log would be great because I am not getting the same issue sorry.
MaYHeM(tl) 15 Feb @ 8:01am
@Sleepy068, the game crashes while I am playing. I have identified that your mod caused the crash of my computer. I have played the game without any mods and it works fine. If I install only your mod the entire computer freezes. I will play it again and will provide the log to you.
Sleepy068  [author] 31 Jan @ 1:25pm
@MaYHeM(tl), I just loaded the game up myself and it works for me just fine, are you talking on boot of the game or are you playing a hospital and gone absolutely nuts with patient numbers? While it does remove that limit, the limit was in place for performance reasons.

Try verifying your game files, check and see if unsubscribing to this mod prevents the crash and if all else fails, please provide a log so I can look into the issue as it doesn't appear to be this mod causing the problems from my end (C:\Users\*YOU*\AppData\LocalLow\Oxymoron Games\Project Hospital), called output_log.txt. You can use pastebin or whatever is easier to get it too me as it'll be too big for steam comments.

Unfortunately, whith this mod (only) my computer crash into death...
tmsaa92 19 Apr, 2024 @ 11:58am
I am really sorry, my mistake! It seems my mouse was the problem. I've got a new laptop and the new scrolling function is messed up. In combination with the black slider ingame and the inability to manually move the slider down I thought something was wrong. So yes your mod is working perfectly and thank you, It's a great mod :)
Sleepy068  [author] 18 Apr, 2024 @ 9:55pm
Hey @tmsaa92, I am not getting this issue sorry, the insurance company panel scroll is working for me and I can accept all insurance companies. Are you using any other mods? What resolution are you playing the game in?
tmsaa92 18 Apr, 2024 @ 1:01pm
Unfortunately this mod does not seem to work after the lates update I guess, because the slider moving down to select the last 2 insurance companies is stuck. It will only show the first 6 insurance companies
lims681004 11 Apr, 2024 @ 2:34am
What do I do with 32 insurance companies?
LUOCHEN 18 May, 2023 @ 5:56am
Thank you for your answer! I would like to try again in another new game save to to find the cause of the problem.
Sleepy068  [author] 18 May, 2023 @ 5:16am
Hey @Luochen, are you using other insurance mods? Or other mods that make gameplay changes? It sounds likely that another mod is overriding this mods changes. This mod will conflict with those as noted above but I can't prevent other mods forcing it lower and we dont have a load order to ensure those mods are loaded beforehand unfortunately. I set this to 32 so that if this mod overrides another mod that adds insurance companies, it'll ensure that you'll always be able to accept as many companies as possible, your PC should give out before you hit 32 haha.
LUOCHEN 18 May, 2023 @ 3:50am
When I used this mod, I found that I could only contract with 6 insurance companies, not 32. (I have already used the mod '10 Insurance Companies'.)
Sleepy068  [author] 23 Oct, 2021 @ 4:27am
Hi DrHell, Uhh not too sure exactly what the issue you are facing is sorry, this mod adds two new insurance companies (Medicare and Research Grant Inst but they are not linked to the unlocking of departments and they'll only spawn patients from the departments you have open. Is it a modded department you are having issues with, happy to help but I am unsure how this mod is causing the problem for you sorry.

Let me know your mod list if possible, you may explain further or you could provide your save file (via any reputable file sharing website, like google drive,) and I can have a look into it for you.
DrHell 23 Oct, 2021 @ 4:10am
Hi, I can´t open the ICU but my patients have started to collapse and I have to send them to another hospital. LiverYT tells me to open an ICU, but I can't open this department because I have to complete the conditions for an insurance company. I have to wait? What should I do?
Thanks!
Sleepy068  [author] 17 Sep, 2021 @ 11:14pm
Hi @minny.le, sorry for the delay, yes, I have made the limit 32 to prevent conflicts with other insurance mods. So you accept all insurance providers including the ones added by this mod.
minny.le 11 Sep, 2021 @ 5:18am
Does this mod allow the increase of maximum number of insurance companies you can contract with above 3?
Sleepy068  [author] 11 Mar, 2021 @ 11:08pm
Hi, Sorry but Localisation hasn't been provided at the moment, I might look at adding these in myself since it'd be little work required.

Thanks, now I can finally get ambulance patients
One Wulf 31 Jan, 2021 @ 2:59am
Unfortunately, I had to delete the save and start the game again, but now everything is working.
Sleepy068  [author] 31 Jan, 2021 @ 12:53am
Hi @OneWulf, feel free to upload the save you are having issues with and link the download here, please use a reputable file sharing service like Google Drive or the Project Hospital Forum. This will let me look into this issue. Otherwise, I am not too sure what the problem is, you can add this mod to an existing game so there shouldn't really be any issues there, you only need to restart the game if you subscribe to this mod while the game is active (the game has to load all mods and cant do so while running).
One Wulf 31 Jan, 2021 @ 12:40am
It works only if you start the game again.
Sleepy068  [author] 30 Jan, 2021 @ 8:02pm
Hi @OneWulf, what do you mean exactly sorry? Are you saying the mod keeps deleting itself even after subscribing? I assume you've already tried unsubscribing and resubscribing as I'd imagine that's how you are installing the mod? You can download the mod here:
https://github.com/sleepy068/Project-Hospital-AIP/releases
There are instructions on how to manually install the mod coupled with the mod. You'll be able to install it this way and unsubscribe from the mod here.
One Wulf 30 Jan, 2021 @ 12:02pm
I don't have to save, I have to reinstall this mod every time.
ksgustavo 8 Jan, 2021 @ 5:24pm
Thanks @Sleepy068
Sleepy068  [author] 6 Jan, 2021 @ 11:22pm
Hi @ksgustavo, the Research Grant Inst does have this requirement early on and throughout but this was to help with pacing as the insurance does payout rather well and previously it was way too easy to smash through them all. Medicare only has these for end game objectives, it gives you something to always aim for. I do feel it is fairly balanced, while difficult, you could reduce your intake just to smash out some of the objectives quickly. Alternatively, you may make any adjustments you wish by editing the mod, it is located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\868360\1937156008\Database\ModInsuranceCompanies.xml
Should be fairly straightforward, I'd recommend using Notepad++ to edit the file as it just makes it easier. Let me know if you need any help making adjustments.
ksgustavo 6 Jan, 2021 @ 3:58am
Hi. I have a suggestion: several health plans aim to stay one or more days without neglecting anyone. This goal is very difficult to achieve in a large hospital. Is it possible to modify this objective?
Sleepy068  [author] 6 Jan, 2021 @ 2:02am
Hi @Corrino, I think I found the problem and my testing did not complete additional objectives after unlocking, so hopefully you will no longer have the issue. Let me know if you have further problems, I have posted the update so you should have it right away.
Corrino 5 Jan, 2021 @ 11:59pm
Hey. No it was a new fresh game. That would be great! Thank you.
Sleepy068  [author] 5 Jan, 2021 @ 11:30pm
Hi @Corrino, that is definitely a bit annoying, did you by chance add it to an existing game? I get the feeling you are correct, while the requirement to unlock the department requires 7 days of no untreated or sent away patients, it is probably still doing the 7 days worth of objectives while trying to unlock the department. So when you do unlock it, it gives you all those objectives if you met them all! D:
Should be an easy fix, I'll just make first objective something that compliments this, thank you for the heads up and sorry for any inconvenience!
Corrino 5 Jan, 2021 @ 11:08am
In Research Grant it seems that the game doesnt reset the ticket for days without untreated patients. So I played through the first 7 days then got the next level and immiadiatly 4 or 5 levels and a ton of cash for x days without death and untreated patients.
Pavian 5 Nov, 2020 @ 4:29am
Can you add Russian?
If you send me a text, then I can translate it into Russian. Then you can integrate my translation into your mod.
Sleepy068  [author] 28 Oct, 2020 @ 12:45pm
Hi @neoxes, no translation of this mod is necessary at the moment but thank you very much none the less (the names of the companies generally wouldn't change depending on a different country if they were a global company so I do not intend to provide translations for these).
Cat 25 Sep, 2020 @ 8:43am
Yes, I've played the game quite a lot. I also like to take it slow but then run into a problem with patient distribution. With just a couple of departments you seem to get about half the patients going to each resulting in, for example, General Surgery requiring huge wards. Later, when you have more departments, the load on GS gets less and the large wards are no longer needed.
I designed the Progressive insurance mod to lead new players through each department with moderate rewards.
I must admit Medicare can be quite challenging to handle so many patients, so maybe the rewards are justified in that sense.
Sleepy068  [author] 25 Sep, 2020 @ 7:24am
Hi @Cat, thank you very much for the feedback, it honestly is appreciated, the real problem is the end game doesn't offer too much for making money an issue so you'll usually end flooded with cash (the modding community is working hard at changing this). This mod was originally designed to complement a more casual gameplay style, or for those that struggle with income management (personally I build departments extremely slow so income can be an issue for awhile).
The sheer number of possible patients also requires considerable skill to manage so it does sound like you are one of those more experienced players. While considered feature complete, I do hope there is more I can add to this mod in the future, especially ways to make it more complicated and more fun. I am always open to feedback though.
Cat 25 Sep, 2020 @ 4:17am
I like the mod but I think Medicare pays out too much cash. This is especially true when you can have 8 insurers active; you almost can't spend the income fast enough.
t1a2l 1 Sep, 2020 @ 2:08pm
@Sleepy068 - Thank you! you are the man!
Sleepy068  [author] 1 Sep, 2020 @ 2:06pm
Hi @t1a2l, the first objective for medicare is treat 20 patients? The first objective for RGI is have no untreated patients for 7 days.
Patients definitely shouldnt go home to wait for blood tests, sounds like either the clinic isnt open at night or they just waited too long and left. They'll definitely count as untreated though.
I can definitely look into but i am not sure i can add multiple conditions. Leave it too me and ill see what I can do.
t1a2l 1 Sep, 2020 @ 3:59am
@Sleepy068 - Hey, thanks for the response, I am talking about the first objective of Medicare, but i can't achieve that, some patients just go home to wait for blood tests results. I think they count as untreated, also it is small hopital so many times patients are sent away.. (maybe you can edit the objective to support people with already big hopital like "7 days untretad patients or if you have more then x departments 20 treated" or somothing like that)
Sleepy068  [author] 1 Sep, 2020 @ 3:09am
@t1a2l
RDI mostly focused on this, this was mainly so you couldn't smash through objectives though as this company does pay pretty well. Feedback early on noted that the mod felt too easy and paid too much too quickly.
I personally have never made a 9 department hospital, all my game time nowadays is spent on modding so I can't comment too much on how it holds up if added later on.
This mod was designed to make things a bit easier early though so it is more focused on the early start, your feedback means a lot though, I can definitely look at either making another insurance mod that would work better in this case or if we get UI scrolling soon, add more to this mod.
Hope this helps.
Sleepy068  [author] 1 Sep, 2020 @ 3:09am
Hi @t1a2l, I am a bit confused sorry, unless you are referring to the objectives after they have been unlocked. Only one of my insurance companies requires no untreated patients for 7 days to unlock but Medicare only requires you to treat 20 patients for it to unlock. The follow up objectives are definitely a mix of number of treated patients, no untreated patients for X days and a few random ones like no dead patients. Medicare only has no untreated patients for the last 31 (increase by one each objective) objectives (it has 18 before this), these are designed to just continue just to give the player something to always aim for and a little bit of extra cash if they make it.
t1a2l 1 Sep, 2020 @ 2:57am
@Sleepy068 - Hey, i added your mod after i had a few departments already. 2 insurance companies require no untreated patients for a few days. I think it is easier to achieve with a small clinic, anyway around this? Have you been able to achieve it in full 9 department working hospital?
Sleepy068  [author] 1 Sep, 2020 @ 2:29am
Hi @Spartan Angel, sorry for the delay, head here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\868360\1937156008\Database or wherever your steam is installed (path within steam will be the same) and edit ModTweakables.xml file, change the number 8 to whatever number you'd like. Since it seems my mod is overriding everything else, this should be a quick and easy way to ensure you can have as many as you'd like. Let me know if you have any problems.
Spartan Angel 30 Aug, 2020 @ 3:06pm
Hi! I notice your mod is limiting the max insurance companies to 8. I tried going into tweakables and increasing that amount but your mod seems to override that. I have more than 8 insurance option and would love to be able to use all at once. Is there anything I can do about the limit of 8?
