Amazing! Thank you for the updates and added functionality! Especially thank you for actually providing changenotes too! :slimetabby:

I had some time tonight so I said heck with it and did the updates. Check the changelog for new features too.
#6  [author] 1 Apr, 2024 @ 2:56pm
Yep, I'm limited on time so I'm waiting for the official release.
Runzu 31 Mar, 2024 @ 2:03pm
Will you be updating this to 1.5? I'm not sure how much has changed behind the scenes, but I'd really love to add it to my new game. :slimetabby:
#6  [author] 16 Mar, 2024 @ 10:25pm
I'm glad to hear it :)

I love this mod so much. Thank you for creating it. Great space saver, lovely graphics, and very pretty to my colonists! :slimetabby:8

Sorry but no, I'm just keeping it updated for new versions at this point. If someone wants to make their own fork and add features then they are welcome to do so but I'm only maintaining it atm.
TeleportBehindYou 10 Feb, 2023 @ 3:57pm
can you make it so that we'd have to cremate the body at the crematorium, which would give you "Ash of [colonist name]", which we can then use to put into the urn? Just for realism purposes.
DisKorruptd 22 Oct, 2022 @ 2:18pm
woo!
#6  [author] 22 Oct, 2022 @ 2:16pm
Now updated for 1.4 and I even managed to figure out the meditation focii so now you can meditate at your colonists burial urns too!
JACK 21 Sep, 2022 @ 2:37am
this is in my top 10 favorite mods on the entire workshop. I friggin love these things
#6  [author] 4 Jul, 2022 @ 10:38am
So I've finally had a chance to look into setting up burial urns as morbid meditation foci and I can't seem to work out how this system works, so I don't think I'll be able to do it. Sorry.
DisKorruptd 20 Feb, 2021 @ 3:01am
All in due time, thanks in advance
#6  [author] 19 Feb, 2021 @ 10:34pm
I'll probably have to make a patch since that's Royalty specific. Could take some time cause I always forget how to patch things properly.
DisKorruptd 18 Feb, 2021 @ 11:11pm
the Urns dont count for sake of meditation Foci, I would presume them to be morbid foci, much like the sarcophagi
#6  [author] 31 Jan, 2021 @ 7:47pm
Update:
Removed research requirement for urns, it was set to require Complex Furniture but that didn't really make sense. This was a change that I made locally and just forgot to upload. Have fun!
#6  [author] 31 Jan, 2021 @ 7:29pm
Just fired up the game myself and now I can't find the urns either, I'll check into this further.
#6  [author] 31 Jan, 2021 @ 6:15pm
That is pretty odd, as far as how they work they're literally just a reskin of the vanilla sarcophagus.
Bad Connection * 31 Jan, 2021 @ 3:50pm
wierd, they dont show up ingame, must be incompatible with something
#6  [author] 29 Jan, 2021 @ 11:51pm
@Internet Killed The TV Star! ~ Yes you can put animals in them

@Bad Connection * They're under Misc
also anyone find it odd you can make urns in the default game and use them/?
can i put dead animals in the urn? I'm making a temple for a dead cat and it be nice to also store other dead animals there too for whorship for my tribal run.
Bad Connection * 29 Jan, 2021 @ 12:40am
this may be a weird question, but where/how do i actually make these urns? i cant seem to find them anywhere
DisKorruptd 29 Dec, 2020 @ 6:04am
oh shweet!
#6  [author] 29 Dec, 2020 @ 3:37am
I did some testing and the corpse does indeed stay inside the urn when moved. :)
DisKorruptd 24 Dec, 2020 @ 11:01am
if it does stay inside, that's pretty cool (I only ask because LWM's Deep Storage suggests that the corpse would stay behind. since picking up and moving shelves leaves the items behind)
#6  [author] 24 Dec, 2020 @ 7:54am
I didn't test that specific case but as far as I know the corpse would stay inside. If you find out otherwise please let me know.
DisKorruptd 24 Dec, 2020 @ 4:44am
Question, if you move an urn, does it empty the corpse onto the ground? or will it keep it's storage when you move it?
#6  [author] 23 Dec, 2020 @ 11:32am
Update: Burial Urns can now be moved without needing Minify Everything!
Genaeve 23 Sep, 2020 @ 12:52am
It's everything I wanted, THANK YOU <3
Genaeve 16 Sep, 2020 @ 1:54am
I can't wait to use this mod! I'm really excited! Thank you!
#6  [author] 22 Aug, 2020 @ 8:56pm
I can look into it, if I recall correctly you can move them around if you have minify everything installed so it should be possible.
Lustique 22 Aug, 2020 @ 9:59am
Would it be possible to make the urns movable/minifiable (last time I checked, they weren't), or is that not possible because they're "graves" and contain bodies?
Kaluth 27 Feb, 2020 @ 12:59am
*Looks at the burial urn* ... That's a fine looking cooking pot you got there...
Lee Meowth 26 Feb, 2020 @ 3:29am
Burial Urns exist and sounds tribal I will add this to my tribal playthrough.
DisKorruptd 25 Feb, 2020 @ 11:21am
presumably, these prevent negative thoughts that might arise from seeing corpses, this could be helpful for storing bodies for cannibal outposts,
#6  [author] 17 Feb, 2020 @ 2:29pm
Update:
-Changed default storage priority to Critical.
-Urns no longer block wind turbines.
-Mod now works on both 1.0 and 1.1
[ Rizno . 雨 ] 20 Dec, 2019 @ 2:53am
Sounds cool, thanks. :happypug:
Latex Santa 19 Dec, 2019 @ 11:34pm
Nice mod, but I tend to practice something called "human harvesting on an industrial scale."
And like the Native Americans and the buffalo, we use every part of the human ; )
kmcl11 19 Dec, 2019 @ 9:54pm
Interesting idea, but it would make more sense if you had to cremate the body first... though possibly that coding might be hard since cremation bills do not at the moment return ashes.
#6  [author] 16 Dec, 2019 @ 4:48pm
In reality yes, in Rimworld maybe. I've never tried so I can't say for certain.
Daniel_USA 16 Dec, 2019 @ 1:58pm
i imagine if you stick the urn in a freezer it might preserve the body.
#6  [author] 16 Dec, 2019 @ 3:19am
As far as I know they work the same as a grave, so no.
Sentient Mediocrity 15 Dec, 2019 @ 7:16pm
Probably a stupid question, but does this preserve the corpse well enough for revival serums?
#6  [author] 15 Dec, 2019 @ 10:09am
Honestly, no idea. I'd say try it and let everyone know.
Mistletoe The Bard 15 Dec, 2019 @ 6:40am
A 1x1 one will always be nice. If I keep these in the freezer, it will keep the corpse inside frozen, right?
