The mod only replaces textures. So your saves should be fine.
Trust me, I'm a truck driver in the US. I've traveled all over this country, and through just about every state minus California, Alaska, and Hawaii. Line colors are pretty much the same whereever you go. Yellow in the middle, to dictate the separation of traffic flow, and white on the outside edges. The ONLY time you'll ever see a different set up is on major interstates and multilane highways, where the yellow line will be on the far left, with dashed or solid white lines denoting the different lanes.
Essentially, this mod is mostly accurate, with the exception of the interstates. But I wont fault the mod author for that due to it being a base game issue. :)
I haven't modded TF2 for a while, so there might be a chance this has been changed. I will take another look at it some time, but no guarantees that I am able to change it.
Please note that with the current way roads are generated, it is not possible to have 2 differently colored borders. I have decided to have them completely yellow rather than white for the more American look.
If you change the width of a road and load an existing game, already built roads of that type will still be unchanged and can't be demolished, or upgraded. That's an issue. :)
Anyway, thank you.
Thanks for the comment. I will look into the issue with junction borders for highways.
Regarding the small one way country road, I will look into that as well.
There seems to be an issue with junction borders for highways.
They weren't showing up for me and i discovered that there was an entry for 'junctionBorder' missing in 'country_large_one_way_new'. I added this and everything is fine now.
I also would want to suggest making small one way country roads wider. I increased their width to 4 and lanes to 3. I think it's nicer this way, because trucks barely fit those narrow roads, which looks a little silly.

Great, looking forward to some sensible roads. Thanks.
I see. Didnt realize that before.
But now I have a conflict with "No sidewalks on country roads". Would you be willing to include getting rid of those rediculousnesses (?) in your mod? By the way, the yellow side lines on city oneways look really good. The ones on coutry roads still dont.

@Celendis
Yeah, as I said, urban looks good.
Country not so much. I know you have left line yellow right line white. But since its not possible right now I stand by my opinion that two white looks better (on country) than two yellows.
