Report a translation problem
On the second attempt, I assembled the most balanced party in my life.
But they retreated.
On the third attempt, I was prepared.
Bandages and antivenom, a rest stop with buffs before the boss.
But three consecutive turns of spam targeting a single character is harsh—plus bleeding and poison dealing 5 damage each.
I took away 3 of his souls and half his HP, but still lost 2 characters. However, I managed to retreat.
Gonna uninstall for now. Definitely not a good first impression. DD is supposed to be hard, I know, but that was kinda ridiculous.
Do not download unless you have some very powerful custom classes install, as fighting it with vanilla heroes is nigh-impossible.
If you insist on using this mod, either edit the stats yourself or wait for a third party rebalance patch. It's not worth installing otherwise
im with one of the comment, you should tone down this mod yourself (coz the creator is nowhere to be found) with:
1. reduce action per turn to the boss
2. halved the summoned hp
those tune make this boss sorta manageable as roaming mob
As for other users having crashes with this mod, I'd suggest bumping up its load order and reading other mods descriptions(they could create conflicts with this one), as I had no problems with it and I have 100+ mods in my save.
For people having problems with it, keep in mind that while it has 3 actions per round, 1 of them is spent spawning 1 dude (which should not be much of a problem to kill quickly, bring shieldbreaker or someone that can debuff prot, it has almost no debuff resist), and it has very low stun resistance (for its difficulty), so any class with a +stun chance trinket should keep it at 2 actions per turn(as the stun resistance goes away on its third action).
Its stress attack inflicts horror, so having laudanum buff your -%stress given is good.
If you manage to kill both dudes (it spawns another if you kill the first one), it will waste another action healing itself, and if you do this quickly, it will have a +20% damage recieved debuff, so it should fall easily.
Bring a man at arms to protect your party because it likes to target 1 character with its maw attack(big damage).

I don't want to lose my save
I just beat it without a single character reaching death's door. You just need a bit of strategy, specifically an Eldritch-killing team (Two occultists, a human-abom for stun, and a Highwayman for DPS was super good)
Not to brag but a Shambler and Collector spawned
It can hit your entire party for a minimum of 25 stress with one of it's moves, it get three turns a round, it summons a monster that heals and guards it and not to mention this thing can blight AND bleed!
Also the trinkets you get? Sure I can see their usefulness, they are pretty damn good. But for the bullshit you have to go through just to get one? FUCK NO!!!
I'm never touching mod again it can rot in hell for all I care.
Edit: Apparently the heroes did not die, even though the quest log is seemingly claiming they "Departed this realm" and "were devoured" on two consecutive weeks. While I'm glad for this apparent mistake, still a horribly overpowered boss that I'd never want as a wandering mob.
Having 3 actions and criting for 20 dmg plus blight constantly is one thing, spawning 50 health meatshield with guard and 20 point heal EVERY TURN other.
You literally cannot beat this boss unless you spam guard bypass characters
And even then its still hard af

I don't know whether I need wait for 12 weeks after I set up the mod?
As a roaming mini boss? Nah fam. Not even close to being fair.
I like the art, although you can tell its fanmade, it doesnt stick out and feel out of place, would love some more lore as it fits in with the abbysal theme of the game.
