In my mind Taiwan is a country and one that has freedom of speech and civil rights. China needs to keep its nose out and sort out it problems with lying to its people and keeping them from hearing about it’s abuse of its citizens and its judicial system that imprisons without trial mostly behind closed door with no jury or witnesses. Its time more civilised counting stood up to Chinas bullying ways instead of grovelling because they are deeply tied to the made in China or before that the made in Hong Kong label where prices are kept low and the workers poorly paid. basically its just in-cab signalling but without a physical signal to actually see, so it communicates with the train and you view the signal aspect via the train rather than physical lights.

Apart from the political nonsence, can someone point me to information of how does this "digital system" works in real life? I can't get my head around it for some reason.

@panzerfanlol. you do realize that not everythings unlocked in the 1800s, and these signals are modern, they propably unlock in the 60s or 70s

Hi I think it's this mod because this is the only signal mod I have on right now but I'm starting in 1880 and I just noticed the base signals (red yellow green) are gone. I'm not sure if it's this mod or not but if so could you please add it back for/up to 1880 unless there's another mod on that specifically replaces them? Unless there's something I'm missing here lol

I lived in Aberdeen for many years and served in a Scots regiment of the British army. The British PM would be wrong to deny them indyref2, but then he is a muppet I didn't vote for...
The Scottish people voted NO to Brexit, so if they have to leave the UK to stay in Europe then so be it and I wish them all the best. The leaders of the SNP are listening to it's people.

I think you'll find that many countries of the world would happily recognise Taiwan as a sovereign state if China didn't throw a strop and cut off all diplomatic and trade relations in response. China is essentially using it's economic might to hold Taiwan to ransom. There are 14 countries that do officially recognise Taiwan, but they're all so small that China cutting ties with them doesn't really matter much...
That's all on the official level of course. If you asked most citizens of other countries how they feel, the vast majority would support Taiwan's freedom to self-determine.
I also find it interesting how many Chinese people are triggered by someone saying Taiwan is a country...

Almost every single person who at least has some knowledge about international affairs would know that Chinese government has been bullying and obstructing Taiwan ever since the notion of Taiwanese independence appeared, so frankly speaking, I don't see the point of people constantly talking about how Taiwan is independent, and it's not so different from people bragging about Taiwan is not a country. Not to mention many Taiwanese people don't even know or care about other countries' problems and history. Nonetheless, they really want people from other countries to know about the cross-strait problem.

To be honest, sometimes Taiwanese people and Chinese people really are similar. For example, there are a bunch of people from China who constantly insist that Taiwan is an inseparable part of China and that Taiwan and China should be reunited. But then you also got a bunch of people from Taiwan who seek every chance they can get to reiterate that Taiwan is an independent country. I mean you don't see German people or Japanese people constantly talking about how their country is independent.

Do you ever want to bold and italicise the "of my country, Taiwan" part of your mod description? ;)

As a matter of fact, no country or organization in the world, including the United Nations, dares and will openly recognize Taiwan as an independent and sovereign state. Yes, I use the word "dare not", because leaders consider political and economic factors more carefully than we use keyboards to fire shots. But as I said before, I will not continue to discuss whether a "fact" is a "fact"! So,finally, I hope your MOD is getting better and better, thank you!

He does not need to support the independence of Scotland. He only needs to recognize that Scottish people have the right to decide whether they want to stay or not. Also, there are good and bad reasons for a country to be independent. It's not simply that independent is good and anti-separatists is bad and vice versa.

Regarding the orthodoxy, as long as we are clear that Taiwan is not part of the People Republic Of China, and I don't think my view needs to be corrected. I've spent a lot of time thinking about this matter. On the other hand, You may need to re-examine why you are so obsessed with the thought that Taiwan and China need to be one country.

Northern Ireland are highly unlikely to join back to Ireland due too Religious and economical reasons, the only pints they have is they're Irish (which actually they're more Scottish Celtic) and the same island which isn't driving points for a reunion. But if they want to have a democratic vote they can, like the vote in 1921 that saw Northern Ireland vote to stay. The only people i see press that they should join are the Irish in Ireland. If Scotland want a democratic vote to become independent they can (and no Boris can't stop it as it has to be passed through both Parliaments) But as me and my Scottish friends say Scotland sadly doesn't have a strong enough economy to survive on their own.

However, I still hope that I can convince the author to correct his erroneous view that the mainland and Taiwan are of the same language and must not be divided into two countries because of the difference in the temporary political system. Your PM has just refused the referendum request of Scottish people, and Mr. Carles Puigdemont who announced the independence of Catalonia is wanted by Spanish government and now in exile.

No offenses, I have said to the author of the mod no debate about his text (since I have done it once and don't want to do it again), but since you may hold some other perspective you should know this is not generally accepted in Europe, and more exactly, in UK.

I have no intention of debating which is orthodox, the people's Republic of China or the Republic of China. That is a matter for politicians. However, as a descendant of the Chinese people, Taiwan will never be allowed to exist as an independent country! Taiwan has been an inseparable part of China since ancient times!
