I also combed over every variant and redid the door placement to that they should all be much more flush with the carriage.
Also, BENCHES.
Yep, the carriages now have seats for passengers to sit on, not just float there.

You'll need to open the .mdl files in notepad or something like that - Don't bother about changing the files with 'menu', they're just dummy entries for the group menus. Scroll down to the bottom of the file, you'll see something like:
cargoEntries = {
{
capacity = 88,
seats = { },
type = "PASSENGERS",
},
Just change the 88 (or whatever entry is next to capacity) to the number you desire, multiplied by 4. So if you want a passenger capacity of 20, the capacity line should be 'capacity = 80,'
Don't forget the comma at the end either.
Hope that helps!
Also, a small detail, but most old British coaches I've seen have black painted ends rather than wood as well.
Thanks a lot!
I've got a suspicion of what it might be, so I'm pushing an update through now. Can you try this for me:
1. Make sure TpF2 is closed.
2. go to: Steam\userdata\{your Steam-ID}\1066780\local\ texture_cache\res\
3. delete all files in the folder
4. Play TpF2 Fever! (Hopefully)
It might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling my mods as well to force all of the textures to be flushed, just to be safe.
I've now checked with only your loco and carriage mods switched on (and no money), and get the following in stdout:
c:\build\tpf2_steam\src\lib\renderer\tex_load.cpp:552: int __cdecl `anonymous-namespace'::CompInternalSize(unsigned int,int,int,int,int): Assertion `false' failed.
MinidumpCallback: dumpPath "D:/Programs/Steam/userdata/92814438/1066780/local/crash_dump/", minidumpId "c636f117-1cbf-4515-9b6f-6a6fbd220d0e", succeeded 1
<Steam install directory>\userdata\<YOUR STEAM ID>\446800\local\crash_dump\stdout.txt and see what the last few lines say?
I really appreciate any and all help with this, since I still can't replicate the issue.
Maybe.
Hopefully.
*cough*
@_THEPodge: I've tried to replicate the issue, but still no luck. It's completely stable on my end even with the forced reverse mods and stuff, so I can only assume its a weird incompatability with one of the other mods. You could try unloading mods bit by bit and trying to see if removing certain mods allow it to work, but I understand that that's a lot of fiddling around on your end and you might not be willing to do that. I'll keep trying, but for now I'm kind of stumped as to what's causing that issue for you. Really sorry I can't be of more help =/
I have the reverse all mod enabled also..
As per my comment really, i had purchased the carriages (1850s). Purchased front brake, 1st class, 3rd class, rear brake only, tried various different combos, 1 of each, 2 of each, 1 of that 3 of that one etc.. It lets me purchased the train fine, just crashes when i select the line.
Yes i have other mods enabled. Which at first though might be crashing it (modded train with a modded carriage etc). But it was also doing it with the standard/default trains in game.
@_THEPodge: I tried to make the game crash with this mod, but haven't had any luck so far. Can you give me more information on what you were doing at the time, other mods you were using etc?
Only happens when trying to assign to the line..
