Only advice is not to block too many roads… it’s the path-finding that seems to shit itself. Only happened when they gave infantry collision boxes. Don’t mess with pop limits too much either. It doesn’t seem to be related to computers, this runs better on my laptop than my gaming rig… doesn’t like AMD either.

Great mods. I think your mods are the best ones for this game. Thanks for the mods. The only thing is the game lags so much, even with no win condishions. I have a gameing computer so that is ok. Any help will be great. Thank you so much.

In the game? On STEAM? I am assuming you have downloaded it etc. The downloads interface for this game is appalling. Sometimes you need to wait around 5 mins & then restart your whole computer.

Yes, you need to earn command points to progress. This is to create different games in the same experience. Basically initial contact is between light/recon units. As the battle solidifies, regimental units collide. If the battle continues, then heavy/schwere units are injected to break the deadlock. This is to mak full stage use of units, provide different phases to the game & emulate actual battles, where initial contact starts with recon & escalates.

I dont think so. But I have never been able to test it. I would like to know how you get on. It may just let you play with the 'races' you own. In 8 years of Luftwaffe Angriff no one has said anything.

SEGA hates modders, but their rival Tecmo Koei loves modders, they have a specific team giving out developer tools to modders after a big release of their musou warriors game franchise.

eh, italy had it's own stuff but it's really just a mixture of soviet, british and germany, the MAB could easily just be replaced by PPSHes, the breda light mg by DP28s and the MG42 as just the MG42, plus a few tankettes from britain and there you go

I have pondered it, but the game is too unstable now. Finland worked as it its army used a mixture of British, German & captured Soviet material. Plus the Soviets copied the Finnish ang to make the PPSH. So the entire faction is 99% accurate.

Italy had all its own stuff... it wouldn’t feel right.

This game, mods & maps are effectively ruined by the latest patch of April 2020. I completely screws the AI, turning it into an actionless camper. I would encourage my subscribers to go vote on a poll I put up to get this latest patch reversed.

You can get the tank aces with either German faction via the commanders or from building the engineering-repair bunker from the pioneers build menu.

It gives different units, tanks & defences to the OstHeer, you select OstHeer & have a different base & build trees. All the nations are updated with extended build trees though, so you can play any faction & have a very different game.

Thanks for that. Mod works with all all win conditions... so your call. I generally play no commanders myself... get sick of Russians spamming the retreat artillery!

Adler, thank you so much for being so responsive and helpful to us players of your great MODs. i will try your latest update right away. i think you are right, Spearhead team also said that there's some dump file problem with the game itself, and they suggested players to limit popcap to 150.
Again, i really appreciate your great work. please keep up with it. i believe i speak for so many COH2 players: your MODs is one major reason why this game is still alive and we are still playing it.

I have added back in vanilla pop cap for vehicles. No crashes on big maps with all factions in on high graphics. Hopefully this cures everyones woes.

I wouldnt play my mods with a pop cap adjuster, as they adjust the pop points themselves, I king-tiger costs only 5 pop points. You are guarranteed to have issues with 250!

There is a memory leak that has been in the game since COH1! Which I think is appalling that they have not addressed it. It gets worse with mods that add more in the game, like mine, as it reaches that critical point sooner. For me things got a lot worse when they added collision boxes to infantry. As the path-finding sucked anyway... now I have engineers playing ring-a-ring-a-rosey around the tank stop. Its why I turned all infantry back to 4 men, unless upgraded. I can certainly say the 1st years of my Luftwaffe Angrif mod where adding things in... the last year-&-a-half have been taking things out.

I have been pondering return the pop-cap limits to tanks to try & stabalise it again... that might be todays job even.

the MODs you have made are all great, and they deserve numerous replays. just an issue: recently they tend to break down quite easily, even i decreased POPCAP to 250 or 200. is it because the MODs themselves are too complicated at the current stage, or is it because Relic has made some updates to the game? i saw Spearhead team also talked about frequent crash of their mod and they said it's because some restrictions installed by Relic.

Your mods are the reason I can't ever stop playing this game haha. Other games come & go (i.e, get removed so I have more space for new games) but this game is ALWAYS on my PC & NEVER fails to be an absolute blast thanks to incredible folks like you making these amazing mods. I wanted the Find to have good intel, as a perk, because a lot of the bonuses you would/could pick for OstHeer, like 5% more accuracy for MG42s etc won’t apply. I did ponder doctrines but went for themed packs. This one has Finland & SS Nordland as they fought around Leningrad. My Hungarian one has the Hungarians as SS Totenkopf as they fought together in Hungary in 44-45.

What's with the AI units being revealed at the start of the game? Can you disable that? Otherwise a good mod, have you thought of merging your factions into Doctorines so we could pick to play as Fins or Hungarians for example
