This could influence the final result.
The same applies to the inverse.
This is assuming this is just supposed to fix the number so it falls into the range -35 to +35.
If it is intended to do this as an extra difficulty (which seems unlikely to me, though possible), disregard this comment.
Also, how does this handle 0? 0 is neither negative nor positive, so it's unknown whether the leds should be flipped or not in that case. (I'm leaning to treating it as positive, due to the statement saying to invert the leds if it is negative, but I'm asking just to be sure, wouldn't want this to screw up a big bomb)
