I enjoy this mod, though it does have a bug to do with a newer feature introduced in a patch... With this mod enabled, my stations no longer "snap" to a road etc. I mainly wanted to use this mod to have the larger station entrance on single platform stations, to allow for expansion later, and have that entrance snap to the roadside easily. I have disabled for now, and hope that its a simple fix and update!

Mod is great!
Is it possible to increase the number of platforms from 8 to 10-12.
Or tell me which mod removes the limit on the number of platforms on stations.

Yup indeed breaks the terminal storage on any train station. Will not use for now but hopefully in the future, the mod author can figure out the issue. No rush imo.

Note that this breaks the last beta patch
So that buildings don't give any added storage (shared by all tracks)

Nice, you are still around, that means you can update your mod.
NEP2 is crashing because you are overwriting a script file from the game that has been changed by UG and you do not include that change. Its not the fault of the other mod.
Its probably "trainstationutil.lua" that got a new function month ago. :)

@PMV Just tested this and the mod runs for me with no issue. Either we are operating with different versions of the game/mod or the real issue you're observing is an incompatibility with another mod.

@Slye_Fox I'm not aiming for compatibility with all other mods (there are over 5000 on the workshop). This kind of error probably means that both my mod and the other mod re-wrote the same file, but in different ways. You could have a look at the mod folders and see which files ones appear in both, then try to write your own version which combines the changes from both. A "diff" program is likely to help you identify the changes that the two mods made.

Sadly, this mod is not compatible with current version of TPF2. Until the Mod-Creator updates his mod, this mod has to be disabled. Thats why it crashes.

Nice mod, worked for a few hours but caused game to CTD when triyng to electrify a station. Works better for my game when disabled :(

@Wagstaff It works fine for me. Check your other mods. Anthoam and Testsnake report problems when combining with the 1000mm track mod.

I really like this mod, but currently have found that using this mod currently causes the game to significantly slow down and makes placing track impossible in the station configuration mode.

great mod but I have a problem:
after I place station (e.g. 3 rail ,160m passenger ) I can not configure to add any platform but only the NL Netherland passenger.

Buildings seem to be all there. I tried to disable most mods which have to do with stations but no change.
Is that a conflict with another of my mods or is that how this mod works ? thanks

Is it possible to make it so you can build stations that already have the max length of 520m? I always hate having to build the station and then manually add 5 sections of track to extend it to 520m.

Hi, I have a question to this mod:

I built a station (regular type) with 3 tracks. with station building "none". I routed 2 lines to it and deleted afterwards track no. 1 and the platform 1. Instead I partially built a cargo platform, adding an 1850 building in terminus direction.
I chose this method, because when I added these things to an existing 1 track station, I couldn't route it to the new line. But in the first attempt (which didn't work), I hadn't have this bulkstones platform automatically added, but in the second attempt which I discribed at the beginning, this happened (I am talking about the brown-reddish stone platform part, which you should be able to see in my screenshot - I hope everyone is able to see it by clicking on the link).

Is it possible, that this results from the implemented asymmetry fix, and I should try the Stations forever version?

There is a bug using this mod. If I update a station with a 2nd platform I am not able to assign that platform to the route. The track does not show up to select.

What about a really skinny platform option that has a little sidewalk or a foundation looking edge that runs along the station..?

For those looking to have just a station building somewhere that is. Technically it would have a platform....it would just be a strip of sidewalk or whatever instead of a train set up.

Make it cost next to nothing to keep going so you can plop it any where and not have to worry about being anything but sexy.

Does that count as trickery..?

One suggestion tho. As Cargoplattform change over time, is it possible you enable the option to select the "style date" for cargo stations as well? Looks kind of wierd to have 1850 cargo plattforms and 1920/1980 plattforms in one and the same station...

@Eddi @Slye_fox: Pretty sure that it's not possible to build a station building alone without some sort of behind-the-scenes trickery. If you try editing existing stations you'll find that station buildings are demolished if you remove the platform they are connected to - i.e. the game expects them to always be connected to a platform.

@nary_believe i think they could be useful, building half through/half terminus Stations, if you want to build signals close to the Platform on the first through track.

@Zeus "Automatic" chooses the building size based on the number of platforms just as vanilla would. If memory serves it's "Small" for 1-3 platforms, "Medium" for 4-6 platforms, and "Large" for 7-8 platforms.

I like the option to build a Station with/without the Building i want, what i dislike about this Mod are the extra 20m Tracks (for what, i don't see any purpose?).

You saved me the trouble of making a mod like this myself. I can't understand why the devs didn't provide an option to select station building size when placing the station. Often I prefer the large station building for the spacing it provides between the track and adjoining road.
