damn seeing this takes me back now i have to see if i still have the OG minecraft mod laying around some where
i assume the armor and tools don't have much in the way of their unique traits though

I do like this as a low tier planet but I find it needs a few quests and stuff. I do like exploring the planet as well
Circe 23 Dec, 2021 @ 11:00pm
Mark me as another fan. While it is a low-tier planet, so many of its items aren't useful for long, I like the new torches and alternate workbench for visual flair (and I'm pretty sure these torches are better)

Some skyroot furniture and other block types made with aether planet materials would make it perfect.

:steamsad: I did not link the comment to starbound.org ... my bad.

I've already claimed the ID's for 4000-4199 should have given me a clue...
Lord Ironborne  [author] 19 Oct, 2021 @ 12:51pm
I appreciate the sentiment @NightSkye 😊. Having other people enjoy the work I put in makes it all worth it.
FlashStrike 18 Oct, 2021 @ 8:25pm
@Janothia i already linked that below in my comment
Janothia 18 Oct, 2021 @ 6:22pm
When you create new materials, look >>HERE<< [starbounder.org] and check for the available ID-numbers (and register the IDs you will use) you will not be the cause of any conflicts.
FlashStrike 16 Oct, 2021 @ 11:51pm
Lord Ironborne i wanna thank you for the work you did with this mod and know that i will never let this mod out of my list anymore as it's gained my respect, and to be honest one of the best mods out in workshop it beats that frackin universe mod, you have gone above and beyond creating something so unique and diverse, thank you so i spend steam points in the most expensive reward i could give specially for you.
FlashStrike 16 Oct, 2021 @ 11:40pm
sweet and thank you for that, that means alot.
Lord Ironborne  [author] 16 Oct, 2021 @ 3:40pm
Thanks for the hotfix. I've already claimed the ID's for 4000-4199, so changing them at this point would probably be bad practice. I'll plug your mod in the description NightSkye for those who want to use Latexians.:SBpenguin:
FlashStrike 16 Oct, 2021 @ 10:13am
For anyone having id conflicts with materials please use my quick hotfix: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2629200783

FlashStrike 16 Oct, 2021 @ 1:24am
FlashStrike 16 Oct, 2021 @ 12:42am
I can make a small hotfix patch for it.
7700-7800 id's are free as far as i can tell.
this is a useful site: https://starbounder.org/Modding:Materials:Mods
Lord Ironborne  [author] 24 Sep, 2021 @ 9:55am
I'll look into it
PassionateAboutPonies 24 Sep, 2021 @ 6:29am
There appears to be a material ID conflict between this mod and the mod "The Latexians": https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1521849240

Here's a paste of the error: https://pastebin.com/JznxbN3Q

Someone has already reported the issue in the comments of The Latexians mod, and the mod author doesn't seem like they're going to fix the issue. Is there any chance you could patch this incompatibility?
Nullguy 7 Feb, 2021 @ 5:49am
No problem, have a good day :winter2019happyyul:
Lord Ironborne  [author] 7 Feb, 2021 @ 12:46am
Alright I've done some testing and verified the error. I'll try to push a fix tomorrow or the day after. Thanks for the detailed report :SBpenguin:
Nullguy 6 Feb, 2021 @ 6:39am
I have made a pastebin link which contains the error at the bottom of it: https://pastebin.com/7KRGDKdv

I should also probably go more in detail on what the issue looks like. Upon selecting the 'Pets' collection in the collections menu, the pet's collection seems to fail an attempt at loading the entry of a creature. This is represented by a blank collection slot at the bottom of the menu. This is also the moment where the error is thrown into the log. Anything that is supposed to show after the bugged entry will not load, since the error causes the game to stop loading entries. Attempting to change the currently viewed collection will not work, unless you select another collection tab that is not the pets tab, close the collection menu and reopen it. Only the 'Pets' tab is affected by the issue.

In other news, I am 99% sure the issue comes from this mod in particular, since removing the mod from my really large pack of mods resolves the issue. Do tell me if you need anything else.
Lord Ironborne  [author] 5 Feb, 2021 @ 9:52pm
Hm. I haven't encountered that error, and it doesn't seem to be doing the same thing on my copy. I'll do some further testing. A log from right after when the error occurred would be useful.
Nullguy 5 Feb, 2021 @ 6:20pm
Hello there, I would like to inform you that your mod appears to cause the 'Pets' collection menu to throw an exception and lock up whenever you attempt to view it, based on some testing I did. I think you should check to see if something in this mod does in fact cause this to happen, since I might be mistaken. I can provide the exact error or the full log if needed.
Lord Ironborne  [author] 24 Dec, 2020 @ 9:55pm
Um... yes? The planet shows up as an un-warpable water planet for other players that don't have the mod. And probably don't place modded blocks on unmodded players' ships...
Penumbral 24 Dec, 2020 @ 7:12pm
MP Compatible?
Jubs 15 Nov, 2020 @ 2:41am

I believe the planet spawns as a moon in tier 1-3 stars, and as a planet in tier 1-2 stars
Gh0st4rt1st 18 Jul, 2020 @ 11:48pm

Lord Ironborne  [author] 4 Jun, 2020 @ 8:10pm
I regret to inform all of the swet enthusiasts out there that the swet spawn rate has been nerfed to allow a new mob to spawn: the graceful kirrid. Bug fixes, some additions, and an easter egg in version 0.4.0. Hope ya'll enjoy it. :winter2019happyyul:
Ribbons0121R121 28 May, 2020 @ 7:13pm

Woah! a Minecraft mod that is halfly ported to Starbound. I didn't expected such thing to appear in Workshop.
Hope that it's gonna become the Minecraft one thing. Good luck with developing

Lord Ironborne  [author] 3 Jan, 2020 @ 3:51am
Oof, that's far more interest than I was expecting. Explanations, explanations.

So, first off, sorry for the limited content, and the nonexistent description.
I just posted this one day when I was making a modpack for a home party.

Basically... This mod aims to recreate the minecraft mod of the same name, albeit on a limited scope. So far it includes a buncha swets- a whole bunch. Only two colors tho. Blue are immune to cold damage, green are immune to poison.
Lord Ironborne  [author] 3 Jan, 2020 @ 3:51am
Adds some ores, but most of them are useless rn. You can smelt arkenium and gravetite tho, so thats nice. I have zanite armor and ambrosium torches. Honestly ambrosium torches are the best part of the mod, gotta be honest. That nice white light. The ores work in the ore-pixel-converter thing, so you can use your spare arkenium and gravitite for some pixels if nothing else. Oh, and pickaxes. Gravitite and arkenium can be used for good craftable pickaxes. Arkenium mines slower but lasts longer, and gravitite mines faster but breaks quicker. Make them at the anvil. They are good enough that they should be pretty useful for most of the game.
Lord Ironborne  [author] 3 Jan, 2020 @ 3:50am
Decoratively speaking, there are no new automatically generated structures or dungeons. You'll find a bunch of avians for now. I might change that eventually, but not sure when. Skyroot and skyroot planks exist, as well as agregite (holystone) and agregite bricks. Agregite bricks and most other blocks are paintable if I'm not mistaken. Also, you can make a skyroot workbench and upgrade it to an arkenium workbench. These function identically to the vanilla ones but are themed for the aether.

Finally, there is brettl cane. Ah, brettl cane. Tis' a crop. It drops brettl wheat or something of the sort, which can be made into either brettl sap or brettl bread at the campfire and cooking station respectably. There is also "AM_canvas", a material that should come from those cloud sheep creatures, but I don't have those, so you'll have to admin it in for now if you'd like it for decorative purposes.
Lord Ironborne  [author] 3 Jan, 2020 @ 3:50am
As far as future development, I haven't forgotten the mod. Well, I had forgotten it, but then ya'll posted a bunch of comments, so i suppose some people still have hopes for it. For all of you out there who would like to see this mod get dungeons, farm animals, further cosmetics (I know, I know, scatterglass is useless), or custom races and monsters, all I have to say is... that's quite a lot of content to add, and I'm just one person. I'll add what I can, but life is busy, and I can't make any promises on when, if ever, most of those large items will be added. Hopefully I can make more decorative blocks, then perhaps finish the armors. After that we'll see. I've looked into modding in custom structures, but not successfully.

So yeah. There's a summary. I'll slap a formal one on the mod page soon, and who knows, maybe I'll add some new content eventually. No promises on that last one tho.

Minecraft sure has changed... wait.
SpookyEngie 24 Dec, 2019 @ 12:08am
So for the people who doesn't know what the Aether is,Aether is a minecraft mod that basically sent you to a world that basically kinda bright and in the sky,heaven-like if you will but it full of monster than will bite your dick off
Nitrosteel 23 Dec, 2019 @ 8:13pm
Needs a better description. What does this planet offer in particular? What makes it different? Is it just a recolored Lush Planet or can we see some new dungeons or new fauna and flora?
