Good mod but i wish it unlocked the UN cycle of things right away. to where they use city states are use as +1 delegate right away or at least by the medieval era. and after every interval session vote for world leader. it'd make the Diplomatic victory so much more interesting and make city states in general a lot more useful for early game. its not like when they vote the first time someone will win but that +2 after awhile adds up so it be much more a competition to compete for city states to not allow one team to control the congress for most of the game. whereas in vanilla it doesnt really matter beacuse theres a good chance another victory willl be achieved long before a Diplomatic one can even have a chance to be achieved

quick question does this make the Diplomacy victory easier to get because of how much sooner they vote for a world leader how does that factor in im interested might have to play one and see for myself

It would be nice if you could add in the added delegates you get from city state allies. It would make voting a lot more interesting rather than always have 1-2 votes. (I say this because i play with bloublous era mdos and frequently play in the classical era)

Can u make a mod which disables World Congress entirely, so its possible to play Gedemons 34, 43 and 64 civ dll. mod??

Since I play with a mod called Absolutely Intriguing Eras, which makes the game almost twice as long, or four times as long or something, as long as marathon (but makes unit production fast so it's still fun) it takes 200ish turns to even get WRITING, much less printing press. This mod is very good :D.

@IceSlug Im not sure how Civ V mods work with macs. You should be able to download it normally I think. Just google it - its nothing specific to my mod.

@genocidal You still need to find all the other civs. But now if you find everyone early enough you can found the WC before you reserach printing press.

@Cogito Ergo Sum You still need to find every civ. So yes, for large games this mod could very well have no effect. But sometimes you get an earlier world congress, which I love :).

Hold on - is the WC founded as soon as a Civ learns writing, or as soon as a civ learns writing and has met every other civ? In most of my games, the WC gets founded a bit after printing press regardless because the founder doesn't know everyone.

@David, sorry for suggesting you hadnt tested it my intention wasnt to be rude but just wanted to double check. Yeah i have plenty other mods working. I have been able to download new ones and unsubscribe from old ones and it all works perfectly. Its infuriating cause i really want to use yours but for some reason nothing happens. How big is the download file supposed to be? It does tend to say ive downloaded something, it just never appears as it should. Im going to keep trying a few things, im open to suggestions :P

@xtopherus This mod has been tested and works fine. Were you able to get other mods working? Mod instillation doesnt have anything to do with the mod itself.

@Dibbz Yes, you are correct. Delegate numbers are unchanged, so it starts with 2-1 until city states come into play in the industrial age.

Has this mod been tested? I keep trying to download it, it seems to do this, but it doesnt come up in my list of possible mods. Cant even find it in my mods folder. Any help would be appreciated, i really like the idea of what you have done.

I like the idea of this mod, but one question:
Does the number of Delegates stay at 2 for Host and 1 for others until the Industrial Age?
Or does it increase per age after the fouding?

I'm assuming the former is true, since that's how I would expect the game to be coded.

@buzzshia This mod shoudlnt have any issue with a mod that decreses WC meetings, but do certinally let me know!

Thank you so much for this; I enjoy confining the eras to Industrial or earlier, and this makes it where I can finally have those extra city-state delegates! I only have a mod that decreases the turns in between WC meetings, and will let you know if there are any conflicts, though I don't anticipate any.
