double the gun double the fun
in OMD it means double the orcs double the fun :D
(again with nananea as example), she made a lot of weapons and stuff, and showed how she made those, so a player can either get what she made, or tinker with it themselfs.
I believe you are posting this mod as public, so you can get others to play what you have done. In order to do so, you must have in mind, that the other player simply clicks subscribe and activates your "product". Try to add customization by simply making each change, a different mod.
And good modding to you mate, if you want, try to make something like a Ceilling boom barrel dispenser.
2 - "disrupting the game files" meaning that you override any changes other mods make, for instance, you override Boom Barrel Dispenser, that I have made a mod that spewns Sappers insted of barrel, but your mod changes that back. So, your mod overrides other mods. Try to alter the minimum possible with each of your mods.
(I would suggest you watch nananea on twitch to better understand triggers and functions within the game) my main issue with that many units in game, is not the lag, but the fact that the program will loose track of its actions (so, "bugs" would occur, like orcs not moving, or walking in air und so fort)
yeah it lags the game, maybe i can do something about that.
hmm the player doesnt has infinite mana. you are just not clicking fast enough (trust me its totally possible to get your mana to in some cases and then you die because your firerate is suddenly reduced)
disrupting the game files? what do you mean?
well the orcs have 5 times hp and there are 10 times more orcs = 50 times more health in total. player only makes more damage(weapons make more damage... i think i set that to 10 times the normal ratio too). maybe i will change something about the player in the future.
when there would be any documentation about that scripting stuff i could see if i can manage to only alter some parts of the traps.
i could split this one up in some smaller mods yeah. but i will still publish this as a whole.
Good = Nice ammount of enemies. Will lag the game. Will make the game loose track of units (ragdolled enemies will not move)
Good 2 = The enemies spawn with a little interval with each other, so they dont block each other
Bad = altering the Player is badly done, infinite mana, plus disrupting the game files can cause issues, also, makes it too easy.
Bad 2 = Higher HP and higher player damage, cancel each other out, actually, player deals twice the damage (approx)
Bad 3 = Will alter many traps, so it will override other mods.
I would suggest making smaller mods, like, one for increasing enemy spawn, one for altering a single trap, one for altering player, und so fort
Grade 8/10, not the best, but very nicely done.
yes it also affects endless
Will this override other mods?
Will this affect endless?
