How do you load a boat in to a heli from land? Zeus attaching doesn't seem to work, and I don't get a load CRRC option on the chinook, only an unload option. Is it only configurable in ED3N?

Brother, this needs an update.

With the hatchet it works fine, but when I try to use it with the MH47 of the TF373 mod it just doesn't work, my ship goes up but the interaction to perform the hellocast never appears.

And if I have the RHS compatibility file, you should unify it and update it or something, I need this.

Hey lurch is there a way to add the "Combat Rubber Raiding Craft" CRRC to the list of CRRCs in the drop down menu?

Hey Lurch, any chance of a CBA option for toggling the animation bits? Would be nice to avoid it breaking if we could just disable it overall

@Fat_Lurch I added compatibility for the Hatchet mod H-60s to this mod. I can send you the SQF (or the code snippet) to include the classnames, boatCoords, etc. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks again for the amazing work on this mod!

@Fat_Lurch The recover CRRC option doesn't appear for me anymore. K-Cast is still functional. I also noticed a bug that crashes my game whenever I try the "Unload CRRC" option on an aircraft (in my test case there were no CRRCs loaded inside).

figured out why can't move after helocast for anyone who is having the same issue, its the wetsuit when no wetsuit is equipped can move

This should be compatible with the MH-47 from CUP already (not sure which one you were referring to). The current issue with the MH-47E is that the model is not floatable. I reached out to both the Rotary Floatary mod creators as well as the Advance Aero Effects creator, but there is no fix at this time.

It's to do with the animation, until an option to disable it is added it's not solveable -- use Zeus to TP into a boat and it should fix though iirc

First of all really cool mod, been looking for something like this, I seem to be encountering a problem though, once myself and my AI team are ejected into the water none of us are able to move so everyone just drowns, any idea how to fix it?

My understanding was K-casting is where you drop the boat from under the aircraft (I'm thinking the intent is the boat is strapped to the belly, like a baby kangaroo)

@Fat_Lurch Yknow, I never bothered to check. My uncle was an SDV in Seal Team 1 during nam, but I dont remember if he ever mentioned deploying off of a whirly bird...idk it was just a spitball idea haha. Thanks!

Thanks Irish! Is there any real world example of deploying SDVs from helicopters? I had been under the impression they're usually docked to a "mother ship" under water?

@Fat_Lurch Thanks! I appreciate the hasty response. Also, I know youre probs super busy with life and whatnot, but I was just thinking about a cool new feature for the future! Maybe SDV deployment methods? I think water ops/mechanics are heavily underutilized in Arma, and your mod adds yet another whole new aspect to said water mechanics. Keep up the great work! :steamthumbsup:

Hey all, sorry for the late replies. I had apparently accidentally not been subscribed to this thread so I haven't been getting notification of comments.

I plan on adding an option to disable the animations: it seems like they're working for some folks but not others.

I need to add compatability with the Hatchet H-60 series.

Hey did we ever find the issue with this bug ?

When utilizing the helocast function from the MH-47, upon kicking all boats and players in the back out some players are not able to swim while in the water and are stuck in place until they are able to enter one of the CRRC's. Not all players are stuck which is interesting that it only happens to some but not all. We have experienced this every time we have attempted to use the helocast function on our dedicated server.

This very same bug is happening to me using the standard Huron with NO other mods.

I get the exact same when deploying. once in the water can only move up and down and no other button or interaction works

uh i was using mods rhs 3cb ace,etc pretty standard mods. ive yet to indepth testing but i had the waves up max and very stormy so maybe thta was it. but i still cant find the option in attributes!

Ric, unfortunately the rotorlib doesn't acknowledge the floatation system from SFM.

hey uh i cant find the thingy in attributes and im using a vanilla helo. i do it myself and prep for helo cast with ai,it works they eject the boat but the boat ends up being destroyed every time :( the second it hits the water

you cant reconnect them. you have to put it on the helo in eden editor attributes

How do I connect the boats to the RHS blackhawks? I've tried all sorts of methods (on land, in water, engines on/off etc) but it never gives me the option to select the boat nor does it show an OK button

I'll try to add an option to disable the jump animations. I'm not able to reproduce this issue so I'm guessing/hoping disabling the animations will help
