mod always keep creating old dirt roads can not fiz it when try to download 1.3 i can not destroy old roads. I do not want to old dirty roads creating.

почему никто не жаловался, что с включенным модом автоматическое строительство дорог использует по всей карте для строительства дороги из мода? я этого раньше не замечал, т.к. в baseconfig.lua прописано makeInitialStreets = false, а играть - я не играл до сих пор, только тестирую работоспособность конкретных модов.

Is this meant to make all the map generated roads 20km/h? Or was that caused by a different mod?

@Pug, я не знаю, как запретить движение автомобилям для создания пешеходных зон и автономных трамвайных линий, или пешеходам для создания нормальных скоростных трасс без людей на обочинах. я не нашел способа. в других дорожных модах это тоже не работает. но для TpF1 был такой мод с пешеходными дорожками, и он работал. не понимаю, почему разработчики не сделали в TpF2 ни пешеходных дорожек, ни автономных трамвайных линий.

Really a great mod! Nearly all road types one can look for.

There are two lanes types I could not find in any road mod up to now and I would love to see in this mod.

1) A pedestrian area - a road which could only be used by pedestrians and trams

2) A small pedestrian path to connect tracks to a bus/tram station.

I have no idea if this would even be possible but even without this will be my favorite road mod.:steamhappy:

@ERXC All you have to do is click on the street you used, click on the update icon and scan the map. The road you used will be blue in the middle [meaning it is the same as the one selected]. Red = not same type. Then click on the vanilla equivalent, then update the road. When all the mods road have gone, do the process below. Simple.

lies doch einfach mal... ein Trottel mit dem Namen Jessie101gaming meinte er hätte das Patent auf Roads+ und maulte hier rum. Damit es keinen Ärger gibt hat AV (der von dem Mod hier) das Addon umbenannt, was natürlich zu Problemen geführt hat. Deshalb habe ich meine Beiträge geschrieben. Die Dateien umbenennen, das Spiel starten, die Straßen zurück in Vanilla verwandeln, dann speichern, Spiel beenden, alten Mod deinstallieren (auch den Ordner, denn der wird durch die Änderung nicht gelöscht) und den Mod wieder installieren. Ist zwar ein wenig Aufwand, aber es geht und so sind die Savegames wenigstens nicht verloren.

@FWSWBN i already checked that I used to rename the folder but I dont get why he even did this name change. If he updates the mod, all name changes will be gone. I only placed one street from him on my map and cant find it so I need to play with this buggy thing whole time.

@AV Not your fault. I was angry [at the 'system' with Steam], as I remember on TF1, I lost a game after spending 400hrs on it. I ended up deleting it and all the other saves [wasn't using them]! lol But this happens in other games too, all too often. Keep up the good work. Wish I could mod/code, as working as a train driver, I could put out a few 'needed' items too! lol

Yes, I also think so about the "copyright" of Jesse101gaming.
he generally does not have a similar mod for THIS game. but just in case, it was better to make such changes as early as possible. otherwise, later in the future, the losses of players from changes would be much greater.

I made a mistake. twice. the first time - when I did the mod. I didn’t need to use new folders with new names at all, I had to use folders with standard names. and I didn’t think about it when I changed the mod - I made the same mistake a second time. Now I understand this, but new changes will cause new save crashes. i cant do it again. players will kill me if I make the same changes again)

@FWSWBN Thanks it worked [had to do it twice as the first time I altered it using tamoigor incomplete version. Now saved game rescued.
BUT we should not have to go through this @AV. I think @Jesse101gaming was being VERY PETTY as it is a name. He does not have copyright on 'roads+' [or he has to prove it], unless it was the content too? But this game is 2 weeks old and we are starting to see the same problems we had in TF1 regards mod pulling. Thanks for the mod and the resolution.

'mod after update' is fully working. its fully working on NEW 'saves after update' and can be added to saves without 'mod before update'.
saves with 'mod before update' are broken because i had to make changes to mod at request of Jesse101gamig. thats all. im sorry.

ok.... i try another way....

do this in my other posting.
after that start game, load savegame and change EVERY ROAD to VANILLA ROADS.
save game, end game, end sub from roads+ and delete the folder 1947558743 in Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780\.
you need to do this because you change some folder names and steam dont know this. so the folder would not delete you need to do this manually
after that resub to the "extended Roads" mod. start game, activate extended roads mod and load your savegame...

everything fine... yes i know its a little bit work if you have big maps with many roads changed.
i do it, and everything is working.

you need to change some files..
1. Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780\1947558743\ ----- mod.lua (open it with a texteditor and change the name into "roads+"
2. Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780\1947558743\res\config\street\ ----- in this folder change the name to "roads+"
3. Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780\1947558743\res\textures\ui\streets\ ----- in this folder change the name to "roads+"

i write everything in small letter, big dont work and you get a lua error with info that some streets are missing.

i changed the first one (maybe its not needed).
it works in my case also with a savegame.

the problem is the name of the folder. You have to change the name from "extendetROAD" to the original "roads+".
STandard route:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780\1947558743\res\config\street

It's just a name of a mod not the contents. I am REALLY P'd off with steam and the modding community. More hassle than they are worth! Loads of hours lost in TF1 now this f'ing game has started! NOT HAPPY!

This road mod is a good solution to the city's automatic outward growth. But can you add a module point. Allows the player to freely choose the direction to go left to right ← → Thank you.
