Most planes in ww1 were very slow and had to climb hours to get up high.
If you want a more realistic one, I can make one that will burn at 160 and is a lot harder to fly.
I try to keep the planes userfriendly. Just look at the Fokker DrI: In real life you had to always pull down.The planes are a lot more userfriendly than you think and if you dont like to fly them you dont have to.

To be honest, it's by far the worst plane on the workshop, that is supposed to be realistic. It always pitches itself down, and to compensate that, you need to gain lift, by increasing speed. That's at least how physics work. But one small thing which prevents you from doing so is that tiny little sensor, that sets the whole plane aflame once you reach 200 km/h. It's stall speed is about 110, only giving you a small gap of 90 km/h to operate in. I'm much disappointed, can't say anything more
