Hey Apothicon
Just letting u know mate
I might not be using ur Nitrus mod anymore

Though i had gone through it and studied the code careful, and was able to learn alot.

I might still take your planets and give u the due credit
or perhaps just make my own...

But i wanna thank you, because in allowing me to mess with ur mods, i was able to learn alot of how to make my own.

I might be carefully studying how u made ur planets, so that i can make my own Gas Giants.

If all of this goes well. Im happy to offer and discuss with u, taking any aspect of my mod that u might like
and incorporating it into ur own mods.

Thank you so much for this learning opportunity.

Yeah just link to the original mod pages and its fine.

While im waiting im gonna leave a decent review on ur Nitrus mod

because im actually really impressed with it
Dr. Nathanial Q. Higgerson PhD 6 Sep, 2021 @ 10:25pm
changed my mind actually
i think instead ill simply merge Zeuitor and Nitrus so that u do have to order them correctly
they just bunched into the same package.
After taking a closer look at the Nitrus mod, im actually kinda liking it.
I think the only thing that worried me about it was the crash warning. Hence why im thinking why not just merge the two packages?

If for wat ever reason u feel this wont work, then say so and i wont do it.

I still might alter the gravitational properties of the three gas giants regardless though (Zeuitor, Therno, Trea)

again still waiting on ur permission, and whether or not i decide its even worth doing.
Dr. Nathanial Q. Higgerson PhD 6 Sep, 2021 @ 9:37pm
I quite like ur gas planets

Compared to just about all others, yours feel the most like gas planets
(It seems the closest we'll ever get)
But may i change somethings about ur gas planets? Modify them and post them for use on my server??
I mostly plan on making so that Zeuitor no longer requires Nitrus (not really feeling that, but loving Zeuitor)
And perhaps making the gravity on all three slightly stronger, and reaching out a little further.

I wont do a think to them though until i have ur permission to modify and repost.
Of course i plan on crediting you
Thank you for your time

ye

Hi, may I ask you if I can try to modify this mod and post it to use on my server? I will credit you of course. Thank you.
Apothicon  [author] 1 Nov, 2020 @ 6:10am
yeah the problem is I can't because I lost the files due to computer issues so rip
WARLORD2306 1 Nov, 2020 @ 5:58am
i have always wanted a blue gas giant in my worlds
a lot of us here would be overjoyed if you made a version that has nothing to do with nitrogen and its dependency
Apothicon  [author] 29 Oct, 2020 @ 4:42pm
i have other very similar planets without the required dependancys. The only difference is the color.
Nath Gamer -- 29 Oct, 2020 @ 4:29pm
Just curious but is it possible to make a version of this that doesn't have any requirements. I am looking to possibly use it as a central body for other planets.
Apothicon  [author] 6 Jun, 2020 @ 11:31am
yep, gas giants are huuuuge
Schmucko Fcko 6 Jun, 2020 @ 11:27am
I didn't realize this thing would be so massive, I installed and place both this and the red one you have while using SEworldgen with the max size and you can see the size from huge distances
Apothicon  [author] 10 Apr, 2020 @ 4:02pm
thx
BUSHWOOKIE 10 Apr, 2020 @ 3:14pm
Tu it is a beautiful planet
Apothicon  [author] 10 Apr, 2020 @ 12:07pm
you could but then the surface would be made of stone and look weird
BUSHWOOKIE 10 Apr, 2020 @ 10:44am
can i run just the planet and not the ather mod
Apothicon  [author] 29 Jan, 2020 @ 10:39am
At least it only happened once so it isnt that big of an issue.
Cion Distan 29 Jan, 2020 @ 8:25am
Oh okay got ya. And no I don't I'm sorry. I do have a lot of other mods tho so maybe it was because of one of them. -shrug- (Yours are the top 2 on my list though)
Apothicon  [author] 29 Jan, 2020 @ 5:53am
Also, when I was playing and placed down my first nitrus refinery it didnt crash my game so that is an interesting bug. Do you still have the log file?
Apothicon  [author] 29 Jan, 2020 @ 5:52am
The assemblers/refineries using nitrogen was a scrapped feature that i still need to remove from the description. I thought it would be cool, but it was harder then expected to add it in so I just decided it wasn't worth it.
Cion Distan 28 Jan, 2020 @ 7:52pm
Nice. Unfortunately I accidentley placed it sideways in my server so you can't even see the ring lol. I love it though. Looks great. Sidenote, even though I have this mod listed first, my game still crashed the first time I placed a Nitro Refinery. But only once.
Also, If a nitro assembler needs nitro to work, but you need a nitro assembler to make (forget items name, something to do with heat), and you need that item to make a nitro refinery, then how do you make your first nitro refinery?
Apothicon  [author] 28 Jan, 2020 @ 7:13pm
I noticed that when i was messing around on a nearby planet in my survival world.
Apothicon  [author] 28 Jan, 2020 @ 7:13pm
Fun fact: The ring around Zeuitor is so bright that if you are on a moon or planet that has an atmosphere, is close enough to it, and the ring is visible then you can actually see a slight purplish tint around some objects like trees.
Cion Distan 28 Jan, 2020 @ 5:23pm
This thing is sick looking. I'ma make a giant jump and add it to my private server. Freak my buddies out.
Apothicon  [author] 23 Jan, 2020 @ 2:06pm
Update: Added custom music when at the core
Apothicon  [author] 23 Jan, 2020 @ 12:54pm
instead of having trees, grass, bushes, and mountains like on earth
Apothicon  [author] 23 Jan, 2020 @ 12:53pm
this planet is actually more performance friendly then the vanilla earth-like planet because all it is is a perfect sphere of solid nitrogen with clouds around it.
Driveguy55 23 Jan, 2020 @ 12:51pm
how is my pc not dying?!
Apothicon  [author] 15 Jan, 2020 @ 5:47pm
im about to release an early version of it that will receive updates after i publish it that improve the quality since some minor things are not finished.
Novum33 15 Jan, 2020 @ 4:01pm
ooh nice
Apothicon  [author] 15 Jan, 2020 @ 3:47pm
I'm working on one of the moons right now.

Novum33 15 Jan, 2020 @ 3:24pm
next update?
Apothicon  [author] 11 Jan, 2020 @ 8:05am
thanks
DeAnti 10 Jan, 2020 @ 7:00pm
this is amazing great work
Paulon _the_Brave 5 Jan, 2020 @ 8:14am
ok good
Apothicon  [author] 5 Jan, 2020 @ 7:53am
The crashes are due to the mod list order, updating description to mention this now.
Apothicon  [author] 5 Jan, 2020 @ 7:51am
I have built entire ships on the surface of the planet without crashing, but I did not place a nitrogen generator so I will test that out.
Paulon _the_Brave 5 Jan, 2020 @ 6:00am
from some testing I found that if you attempt to place something on a planet surface you crash could be other reason though as I havent checked the logs yet, the block I was placing was the nitrogen genorator

still neat though
Dutch Motsu 4 Jan, 2020 @ 9:11pm
Even from a distance this planet is beautiful, and the asteroid density inside makes it feel like navigating a nebula on your way to the core. Well done!
Apothicon  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 12:09pm
also i might just make your suggestion for having bands and making it not transparent into an entirely seperate planet. It would probably be red and instead of being made of nitrogen it would be made of hydrogen. It would have a custom voxel for the surface that is Solid Hydrogen and can be converted to normal hydrogen inside of an 02/H2 generator.
Apothicon  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 12:06pm
yes, asteroids spawn anywhere besides within the super close proximity of the surface (there is fog there so asteroids would not be good there, hence why there are none)
Novum33 2 Jan, 2020 @ 10:55am
did you say asteroids spawn in rings?
Apothicon  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 9:41am
the layer directly around the core is already so solid that you cant see through it, but I will try to find a way to make one of the more outer layers less transparent without ruining the look of the planet.
Novum33 2 Jan, 2020 @ 9:04am
not solid but translucent
Novum33 2 Jan, 2020 @ 9:04am
could you make one layer less transperant?
Apothicon  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 8:52am
Edit: I just checked what it would look like with more solid clouds and it looked horrible so I will not be doing that.
Apothicon  [author] 2 Jan, 2020 @ 8:46am
@Jacof33 Due to limits with space engineers you can not have any more cloud layers then what is already on the planet, so making the bands would not be possible, but I could re-texture one of the cloud layers to be solid so that you can't see the core.
Novum33 2 Jan, 2020 @ 8:37am
by bands i mean a gas giant texture
Novum33 2 Jan, 2020 @ 8:36am
SUGGESTION: make the clouds look less transperant and more solid. you can't see the core of gas planets. and maybe give it bands that would look realy nice
