How can we make the AI in MP more effective? Is there a setting that makes them better as I find that things are too easy even on hardest difficulty.

i try to use the mod hit launch and game wont start. just stays at desk top. i did test to see if i can start both RM versions without mods. and yes i can =]

I am pleading with you guys, give the big ships back their dynamic movement! I know it came with occasional problems, but the look and feel of the entire mod is MADE by the ships moving and fighting just as they do in every Star Trek show.

Just revisiting your Gorn release trailer and seeing the big dreadnoughts actually TURNING, bringing their weapons to bear intelligently...I miss it to a painful degree! I get its more tactical in some situations, but theres a dozen other mods to play for ships lobbing shots at each other.

I beg you, let your mod stand out again! Give back dynamic movement! Even just this one if need be, but PLEASE...even if its just an optional submod!

The cause is definitely a corrupted mod big file, this is caused by the launcher not being left alone while it's copying from the Steam downloads folder into the Homeworld directory. It literally freezes and goes unresponsive while it's doing that (not a great design choice).

Clearing the corrupted files and letting the process run is the only way to fix it (or you could do the copy manually yourself if you're feeling adventurous)

That did not help in the slightest...it went from attempting to run and it closing with a very VERY small window box with some kind of error, but stated in so many languages *not my own*, to not running at all now. So, it made it worse.
Deleted/erased and Re-installed. Resubbed to mod. It won't even try to load it now.

That's a nice catch! There was a script that was working to turn those on but even though it all got called and set correctly the game still didn't turn those weapons on. I've made some changes and that's working now, fix is incoming!

Something i have noticed is that the Miranda class still only seem to have its phasers original phasers, even when i give it the heavy phaser cannons and torpedo upgrade. Sorry if i sound rude. ^^;

We have been working on them. Granted very slowly due to RL commitments. We just released an update today. There are still some issues we are banging our heads on, but hopefully the most annoying ones have been fixed.

I'll start by saying I adore the Star Trek Continuum mods, and will be playing them for years to come! But ever since the update months ago, I've noticed the larger ships don't fluidly move in combat anymore. That is an extreme shame, because the motion of the battles makes this mod stand out so much from Homeworld Vanilla! Especially the Gorn, who have several ship classes that now just sit and get shot without moving a muscle.

It is possibly my only critique, but can the larger ships be allowed to move again? Titans like the Hutet on 2380 I understand, but even the Gorn Dreadnought is small enough to have fluid movement and look awesome doing so!

Again, amazing mods, and regardless of this I will never stop playing them!

I just got a new PC and re-downloaded all the mods. It's giving me the "Access Violation" error and crashing. Anyone know a solution?

One of the best mods I've ever played but two things bothers me very much
1. The ships leave no debris behind when they were destroyed
2. the mods are not compatible with other map paks

Very cool, mod. Enemy is very easy to beat even on hard though. They only ever seem to build a handful of ships but a ton of harvesters

We've not been able to do extensive multiplayer testing, your logs could be very helpful! Can you follow the instructions in step #5 of the mod description for me please? Remember that the log file is written over every time you restart the game.

ok so my brother and I have been trying to get this mod to work but it keeps kicking us out of sync, is this a known bug with this mod? or is there something that im not getting? we had raised our FPS so that we dont go below 200 FPS and it still kicks us out of sync and all our game time was lost =( anyone else gets this problem?

The shield collision mesh is not completely respected by the games' collision detection system, is why

@Nathanius I solved the problem... The 2GB RAM couldnt take the mod so i had to throw some stuff of my pc. Now it works allright. Still thanks for answering and great mod !
