Thank you for making a wonderful character mod that gave me many hours of fun! was just looking through my mod list

Just randomly found this mod, and love this char so much, his features are so similar to my original character including the fact that he has panic attacks and a female bird to calm him down, feel like my boy alive in this game. Love Devon and thank you for creating him

P/s: His stats is really week, but I love it lmao it makes me have to use more skills to dodge the boss's attacks instead of just tanking. Luckily he's so agile, nice built.

I love your work so much, indeed ! But I feel bad about the certain bug and maybe the guy would be more individual when added more something special .

高步行/跑步速度
高攻击速度，低近战伤害，但高远程伤害（特别感谢亚历克斯的这个调整）
湖区人口增加（v2.3）：
-耐热性强，但对冷不敏感
-喜欢下雨，甚至不想保持干燥！在雨中或潮湿时不会失去理智。很容易受潮，而且需要更长时间才能变干。
死亡触发加法（v3.1）：
-恐慌症发作：随机（几小时到几天）

I love Devon to death but his voice is extremely loud compared to everything else in the game, scared the crap outta me when I got hit.

If you want to add a character's exclusive long-range weapon, otherwise the feature of long-range high damage doesn't make much sense

This undeveloped mod is a little hard to play.

정신력이 갑자기 반으로 훅 줄어드는데 이유를 모르겠네요. 피도 적고 정신도 적은 대신에 걸음이 빠른것만 장점이라고 생각하는데 정신력 줄어드는거 때문에 못하겠음. 그리고 비오면 정신력 안줄어든다던데 줄어들어요.

I've gotten Hamlet, I just need to get a good chunk of freetime to be able to update and test everything. It always takes a lot longer than I expect to update for these, and I know there's going to be a lot of new dialogue, which alone usually takes at least a solid day to sift through and customize. I super appreciate all your support and kind words for my speedy jerk child, y'all are awesome!

I love this mod. I am more than willing to donate hamlet just so an update for him can come.

Since he has birdy dont you think it would be cool by not letting him kill birds directly?

I havent gotten the Hamlet DLC yet, but I'll definitely update him once I do! Thanks for letting me know the problem more specifically so I can find a fix easier!

Hi there! As this is my favorite mod, and I recently recieved the Hamlet DLC as a gift from a friend, my immediate response was the try out this mod with it, as he is simply my favorite character. Immediately I was confronted with the issue of Birdy not acting as a sanity boost in any mode while Hamlet was enabled, only in hat form was this issue appearing though, and once I placed her unto the ground, the sanity aura was active, I tried this a few times, hoping something would fix itself, and as a hat, Birdy does not regenerate sanity. Just a heads up on this small issue, also, I look forwards to his new adventures with temples and money, maybe Birdy will end up swiping a coin or two from an unsuspecting bypasser. Good Day, and thank you for making this wonderful character!

As a character, he actually does avoid eating birds cause he loves Birdy so much, but he's not against eating other kinds of meat. Programming that is a problem though, cause (other than turkey legs) you just get morsels from everything, so the game doesn't distinguish the kind of meat you're eating.

How much spelling, arithmatic, or logical argumentation you think hunters get done while hunting? Devon's dumb because he has a very specific skill set and that's the -only- area he's able to be clever in.

I think a hunter should be smarter

Ever thought of making Devon a vegetarian? It would make sense as he seems like quite a bird loving guy. (Also from a gameplay perspective it's pretty cool because Devon is fast and can therefore get enough veggies to stay alive)

my game crashes whenever I try to load into a game with Devon :(
I get this error [78.media.tumblr.com], I've tried re-installing and playing with no other mods, but it didn't help

Hey, y'all I'm not dead! New update!
Tweaked the paranoia, made Birdy visible, and added the Extremely Important detail where when you put on/take off Birdy, she makes a crow sound.

This really is a well made character, I appreciate the effort put into making him fit into the game (Maxwell adressing him directly, etc.), although I think the panic attacks are too close together. It would be nice to be able to configure the mod to set how often the panic attacks occur. And maybe an option to turn them off. Thank you!

I'm also experiencing the "invisible birdy" bug. Hopefully it gets fixed soon! ;p; I can't play Don't Starve without Devon and his shenanigans. xD

An incredibly well balanced character and honestly one of my favourite classes to pick. He's quick, he's fun, and with the Walking Cane, he's practically unstoppable.

My game crashes when i try to pick the character.

is weak, quit please that panic attack random for other think, i recomend; spawn of creatures arruaund ,agresives how if do paranoia. but not less sanity, why is hard upgrade that stat. sorry for my engligh, is very bad. im latino

Also, I had a weird situation where my sanity was just tanking. I think it might be that when birdy gets wet he stops giving a sanity boost. I don't know if this is intentional or not.

I'm having an issue where birdy is invisible when dropped on the ground. The sanity boost is still present and I can pick it back up again.

@Spawnus The workshop number for this is 195729043, if you go to it in your dont_starve\mods than into scrips\prefabs you'll find the devon.lua file. If you look in that (preferably with notepad++) with a text you'll find some pretty self explanatory lines like "inst.components.health:SetMaxHealth(50)". Edit just the numbers in the ( ) and you should be fine. Save (of course) and exit.

Can you please make it so that Devon has higher base stats? I was thinking maybe 75 health, 100 hunger (drains slowly), and 120 sanity (drains quickly at night). I love this mod, and all the depth that you brought to it. I only suggest this because I typically die on night 1 of sanity and I wish that I could use Devon more.

Same, crashes on character creation...it's the first mod I install too

For me it keeps crashing the game in character selection, I checked the few characters I had and this one seems to be the only one that crashes. :(
