Socrates has their own ideas and development direction and we have ours. If you prefer their version by all means play it. This version will continue to be developed in a direction our team thinks best fits our vision for what the mission should be. Our team is fairly diverse in ability, specialism, and available time, as such it can be the case that a developer does not have time to finalise every feature of a project they begin before an update rolls out. Therefore, they strive to create a stable, though not fully complete, system that can be released and after this they can continue their work for the next version to be released.
Sidenote, while you are entitled to your views and opinions, being polite is far more conducive to having your feedback listened to and taken on board, insulting peoples work is decidedly not polite.
I killed all blufor in sight but the mission failed anyway. (offroad destroyed/didn't spawn).
Other times I saw an offroad blowing up inside a building, or not appearing at all. (both resulted in mission failed).
You can start a new save from the parameters screen in the lobby. Just change "Load last save" to "No" and it will start over.
Check that you are still loading ACE when you launch the game to play, and if you are and you still can't open the menu, check your bindings and consult the ACE team via their workshop page.
Try giving them more time, or ordering them close to the vehicle before giving the mount command. Arma's AI can be a little slow sometimes.
We are already working on a hotfix and it will be published shortly.
That mod is not supported by us and thus is not integrated in any way. It's function has never been tested by us so we cannot say if it should or should not work.
when i press special keys Shift+Y for artillery call from a Scuad appear a EDITOR.
If the problem persists please let us know.
Any ideas? We've checked that every mod is up to date already, and re-downloaded the map.
Note: We won't fix it because it would be a lot of work for the very limited number of situations in which the fix would help.
Second, I want to report an interesting bug. I've set up my HQ in what's evidently a smuggler's cave off the road halfway between Gorqan and Qalandar, grid square 03x05. It's an ideal base location because it's not visible from the air. When I set the HQ there the first time, Petros spawns inside the cave and basically can't be attacked. When I reload the mission from save, however, Petros always ends up standing above the cave, outside, completely vulnerable to any passing aircraft. I know Arma doesn't handle pathing in caves well in general, but I figured this might be something you could address. Relatedly, when recruiting AI from the flag placed in the cave they always appear outside and above the cave.
