The rule_type "monsterType" only procs an effect when a hero is attacking a monster.
What should be used instead is "monster_type_count_min" with 1 in the float. This will proc the effect while at least one of that type of monster is alive in battle,
Additionally ecto_haunted damage taken component should have the rule_type "attacking_monster_type" so that it only procs when attacked by an ectomorph.
Like no error pop-up, no crash log or something like that, At least as far i say been searching for logs. Ghost just does that move and game just quits

Ill stress it again - from you, there are and hopefully will be trinkets and heroes and maybe quirks and whatnot that revolve around Ectomorphs. Knowing that the full potential of all this stuff is only ever realized in one Region drops the perceived value of your mod.
You should simply allow the ectomorphs to appear in all base game areas, MAYBE the Crimson Court, Probably in the Endless Harvest, and, if its not too big of a favor to ask, maybe even cross mod support for Dimensional Havoc and Sunward Isles. Maybe that Pet Cemetary mod too.
The experiment that let the ectomorphs invade happened in the Ruins but they have since spread all over the estate. Yada yada. Neither is lore more important than visuals and gameplay, nor does this particular small alteration of the lore make it any worse. It would still make more than enough sense.

This isn't necessarily a sign that some big update to the core mode is happening - I'm still very busy these days, but I want everyone to know that I think about Beyond Mortality just about every day and I still want to keep adding to it. Hopefully one day! Happy Halloween!
This makes trying to actually fight a boss in the Ruins absolutely infuriating. After literal hundreds of hours playing this game, I cannot get to a boss without at least two afflicted heroes, minimum, with a Jester playing his ass off in the backrow.
Jokes aside, The Paracausalist is a real chad among scientists, who's carrying a nuclear reactor on his back, ready to blast ghost out of existence with power potential of Dio from "JoJo Bizarre Adventures"...
I'm almost surpriseed that he's not raming the main bosses with "Ecto 1" from Ghostbusters, because, oh boy, does this alpha-male rolling on the battlefield! Respect to creators and definitely advicing you to play!
I have a tons of mods, it was long for me to find that it was this one the problem.
I guess it conflict with another mods that add content to crypts (here be, koala, nerub, moonlit?) or with a mod that change journals.
I precise it was working fine on lvl 1 ruins quets.
Do you have an idea?
