I see folks talking in here about how horns on Sylvan is a bug. I dug into the mod itself and see that the horns were intended to be the first step. The author made the first step horns which unlocks the ability to upgrade the transformation further, including adding a tattoo (skin).

hi! I wanted to point out that something in this mod prevents the gorgon crust from forming.

@Draconiya You can either follow what Minic78 did on the next page of comments, or download the Smokers Expanded Themes: Human fix mod and get rid of this one. That mod is current on like page 2 of the most recent mods page

Has anyone else had problems with the scorpion tail not appearing during and after "The Merchant" event?
I have the Sting ability, I've gotten a pet scorpion, but the tail is not on the figure. Could anyone please suggest how to fix this?

+1 to fixing the sylvan/horn bug. I took the sylvan transformation thinking it would be the stock version, ended up with horns and no witchbolt/invigoration/chaos whorl. Really would like to be able to go back to the stock version again for one of my characters.

I love the mod but for some reason the gorgoniod mark is disappearing for me during the chapter interval. I see from the comments there is at least one other person that had this issue as well. Other than that I have found no bugs.

I figured out the problem for why that fix was not working. The problem was the themes expanded utility mod was also adding in the original arms and having all of them be doubled. Once I deleted that mod then the problems went away as Minic and Bullseye said

The fix seemed to work fine for me. No more doubled limbs when using DLC themes, and parts that disappeared without the mod active are back.

@Minic78 what exactly did you change? Everything in my legacy viewer still looks the same, as far as vanilla themes being present alongside the new themes. So the new themes have double legs (new and original), and the legs, etc. Copying your folder into the workshop folder didn't really do anything different as far as my legacy goes

Here's a quick fix, jsons just needed the new themeSkin_name* format. Otherwise it's as smoker left it, ie some newer vanilla theme reworks may be overwritten by this mod. Extract to your Wildermyth workshop location (Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\763890) and overwrite.

Started a new legacy and only noticed one bug so far, the gorgonoid mark disappearing during chapter interval. Not sure why so I had to use devmode to add the crust myself. Be aware there could be other such issues or things I missed.

I want to use this mod so bad, as I have been for years, but the lack of mod update making all the textures extra/overlap with the themes and some armor is really killing it for me... and now when I take it out, I can't find a way to get all my characters' normal body parts back, they're just missing textures. Anyone know how to do so, at least so I can play normally until/if the creator updates the mod?

"You can buy any Theme part in overland for 1 LP. Just select the character and you will see a skill to do it (you need LP)."
I haven't been able to find this option for any of my characters, I think the mod might need an update.

@amberness/@Troyosarus Rex/whomever comes after I was able to resolve the witherbolt issues by changing the contents of the `assets/data/effects/themeSkills/sylvan/SETsylvanWitherbolt[12].json` files by patern matching against the `SETjumpjolt[12].json` files. The most important change was in the `id` and `sourceFile` fields that needed to be updated from `green_somethingoranother` to `SETsylvanWitherbolt[12]`. When I get a chance I'll put up a github repo somewhere showing the changes that need to be made.

Witherbolt is not coming across for the Sylvan transformation, which messes up the achievement. I tried deleting the "green" file, and I ended up with a floating torso with NO abilities, so that didn't work. o.o

The fact that you completely turned Sylvan into a physical-based theme threw me for a loop when I set up a mystic for that theme, only to learn I was using the wrong class. Not really complaining, just wish there was a warning about that sort of thing. Absolutely love the additions to the Oldwane Bones, though.

Love this mod, however, some of the text is getting stored incorrectly I believe. My gem character's options to transform their arms or get a shoulder pet has the text for frost transformations. The other character in my party has the actual frost transformations.

However, the actual transformations still work correctly, so not a big deal.

People who've worked on the art for this mod, were you able to find any guides or the like on how to mimic wildermyth's art style? I've been wanting to make a custom transformation mod of my own, but I can't find any useful information on how to get the style match right. (Maybe I could help contribute some art to this mod too if I can mimic the art style well!)

So, I like this for the most part. I will say the Sylvan theme seems incomplete. The arms don't have in traits ot grant any ability. They're just fluffy...arms.

While I'm at it, are all themes currently obtainable in-game, or some (like the vulture theme) can't be earned through normal gameplay yet? I always get the fire theme in my playthroughs, but the others seem really rare.

About the right arm clipping through armor I will adjust it thank you very much (it's cause right arms go in front of the weapons with the mod Expanded Utility).

Missing parts: It's because before some parts had weird ID names and I had to standarize them all in order to make the Advance Theme skills. Sorry about that but it had to be done, it's possible some old text remain just the name of the old part until the game actualize it (not really my fault).

But now you can buy any part for 1LP so it's very easy to buy the new Vine tendrils.

For example all new pets have disapear, you will have to buy them or get them again. Again, apologies but it's the only way to make the Advancement skills (other than do 5 specific skills 30 times).

Due to the amount of parts and pets added, the mod needed some kind of Theme progression.

After unsubscribing from some of your mods now named "You don't need this!", some of my characters have changed theme appearances or lost visual themed traits. For instance, I have a "Botanical" Hunter which no longer sports Vine Wings (even though it shows on its Traits). And my Gorgon-infected warrior no longer has tendrils (now it has monster arms), but the right arm is clipping through armor. I've posted in the bug topic for reference.

It's to represent the skin part that gives a skill, color is the only thing i have to represent it visually, same with some hair color, you can use the mod Aberrations it shouldn't have fixed colors (but I'm seeing some there, I must have left some). I have new images for green i will patch them asap.

The general idea is nice, but all the forced skin and hair changes get super annoying. Same with changes like turning sylvans into weird green bears. I tried to figure out how to keep the mechanical changes while reverting the look back to normal, but couldn't really figure it out.

You can easily modify my mod, go to steamapps/workshop/content/763890, look for the mod, an in the folder assets/data/themes you can change what you want or even remove some themes and vanilla will get in. You can remove Theme Parts (like pets or heads) and/or replace parts for vanilla ones, but to replace a part you must copy the Vanilla Part to my mod replacing the same "ID", to remove everything except pets you must copy the vanilla parts to my files.

The vanilla Themes folder is in steamapps\common\Wildermyth\assets\data\themes.

Sylvan and Bull forms etc are intended, just remove them if you dont like them. Erase the file with the name of the Theme you want to remove and vanilla theme will get in. I'm no artist, so it's limited what i can do.

I will fix the achievements issue thx a lot for reporting :) and apologies :(

Is there a way to just add in the pets? i realy like some of them, but not the transformations like the bear for example (I like the tattoo on the human head more then the bear head)

Is it possible to remove the pets from the themes?
It's difficult enough on stone to get a full transformation or even just a pair of arms without a sloppy pet thrown in as well.

This mod modifies base game aspects. E.g. "Mark of the Horn" turns into "Mark of the Bull".
That's pretty terrible all things considered, adding entirely new aspects would be a much better and cleaner solution.

This mod appears to specifically modify the Battledance skill, for some reason. I assume this was an unrelated chance accidentally left in with this mod.

As Comrade Pingu mentions, some achievement themes cannot be touched, and others, their achievements simply cannot be achieved for some odd reason.

Is it possible to have a human face, when only a part of the head(like a scar) is transformed? I don't want to have a bear head when I only have bear Bear-like tattoos in the story.

Apologies if this has already been addressed, but when this mod is active I cannot use achievement themes. At least the skeletal monstrous theme as that's all I have unlocked this far. Not sure if this is a bug or as intended? Thanks

Hello. I am doing the Morthagi campaign and I noticed one of the important NPC's always has the Mark of the Bull. I have tried to get rid of it before getting into the combat, even starting over the campaign without the 'Deepist' file, but for some reason the NPC always has the bull's head. Is there another file that uses the bull's head? Because I rather not get rid of this mod, but it's frustrating to see the npc marked as such, and ruining a bit of the immersion.
