I must try that one out. Thank you.

This one kinda reminds me of josepezdj's Oxygen Station. Like that map, I was stumped for the first part on this one for very much the same reason. After that the test became easy.

Gotcha. You mean make the opening higher... You got it,
| \_/ () 18 Feb, 2014 @ 11:14am
no, I ment...uh... the ceiling of the HOLE, which you go through...the block which the light strip in this screenshot is on https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=229602843 ...delete only that block because when I played it I had too much momentum and bumped into it - I went higher, than I should have gone... the whole ceiling of the chamber isn't a problem.
Andi  [author] 17 Feb, 2014 @ 8:32am
The ceiling is now higher.
Andi  [author] 17 Feb, 2014 @ 8:26am
I will do that. Thanks.
| \_/ () 15 Feb, 2014 @ 11:23am
cool! allthough it would be better if you make the ceiling higher where you get in the glass room in front of the exit.
Andi  [author] 6 Feb, 2014 @ 8:42am
Thank you.

Thank you. I'm happy to hear that you liked.

Very, very good puzzle! I usually don;t like maps where you need to do one very precise jump, but tis one is concstructed well enough to make my brain grind. Good work!

Thanks for the comment and thanks for playing. I'm GLaD that you liked.

I loved this one. Nice logic getting the cubes on the final buttons. I had a lot of trouble as usual with the final jump. Been trying to get out for some time now. Finally came to me today. Great map. I enjoy playing yours. They have the right difficulty level. None too easy but not so hard you quit either. Thanks. New ones for you to enjoy over at my shop.
Andi  [author] 25 Dec, 2013 @ 3:17pm
Thanks, I'm happy to hear that you liked it. The exit has a trigger that opens the door when you land on the platform.
Stuntmanmyke 24 Dec, 2013 @ 8:10pm
Good test ! the exit door open when you reach it is WTF :-D
Andi  [author] 25 Nov, 2013 @ 8:38am
Thank you for the comment and I'm happy that you liked it. I will try you map too.

I enjoyed this enormously. The first puzzle required thinking and a little timing and I found it to be of medium difficulty. The ambiguity about what the overhead lasers do could perhaps be solved with laser relays. The second puzzle didn't need much thinking but requires some fling skills, including mid-air strafing and portal placement . Also medium difficulty. Great job; thumbs up!

I have recently updated my map With a Little Help From My Friends with Hammer to make it more visually interesting, easier in execution and less prone to accidental death. It is a large map, requires patience, determination and quick execution, and is not recommended for beginners.

I'm GLaD you liked it. I'll be happy to try your map.

I will say that I am horrible with my first-person-shooting aim. So that last fling? WAS EVIL. But great chamber anyway! LOVED it!

@M3 E Thank you.

Hi...
Andi  [author] 20 Nov, 2013 @ 2:14pm
Yes, there is a way to do it without the lightbridge but using the lightbridge is much easier and quicker. Yes again, the companion cube is not used. I hide a companion cube in every map I make (there are a few chambers that don't them because element restrictions). Some are easy to find some are very hard to find.
Eagleshadow 20 Nov, 2013 @ 1:57pm
Took me half an hour to figure it out. I'm not sure if I did the first part the intended way, as I didn't use the lightbridge at all, and I later found out I didn't use the companion cube either (or was that just for decoration?). Anyways, here's my embarasingly long replay: {LINK REMOVED}

Thank you all for playing, I'm very happy to hear that you liked it.

@eMbAh You are correct about the doors leading back to the first back. They are there to keep the players from getting trapped. Thanks for your feedback.
M3 E 20 Nov, 2013 @ 5:35am
Very elegant, well done. I'll be adding this one to my favorites.
Dimasick 20 Nov, 2013 @ 2:43am
it's fucking awesome! especially the last two portals :p2wheatley::happymeat:
K00sin 20 Nov, 2013 @ 1:30am
I'm little stuck the first test but yeah, good test chamber :)
eMbAh 19 Nov, 2013 @ 10:24pm
I really liked the first part and I solved it starting from the chamber without the bridge the first time, So I made the 2 portals on ground and the brief moment the cube interferes with the laser is enough to shoot a portal across to the other room , So I thought this is advanced stuff! but I realised quickly I could have just started from the other chamber. When I played it again I also discovered the doors that leads you into the cube rooms from the big 2nd room, and I guess that is neccesary in order to avoid players getting stuck? Maybe add a fizzler instead of a flip panel one of the places? If it's to the main entrance to the 2nd room then the "hidden entrances" to the cube rooms could be removed
Flynn1138 19 Nov, 2013 @ 8:45pm
Good test chamber, a little hard to understand the first bit. Other than that it was good!
Andi  [author] 19 Nov, 2013 @ 4:39pm
You got it.
Skyferret 19 Nov, 2013 @ 4:38pm
I think I see now. Shoot out of that flip panel via faith plate, your portals get canceled by the fizzler, then portal the angled panel, then shift to one side and portal the floor. Thus giving you extra fall distance
Andi  [author] 19 Nov, 2013 @ 4:35pm
@Skyferret I have addressed the issue of the faith plate and it's a little easier to get to the exit.
Andi  [author] 19 Nov, 2013 @ 4:18pm
Thanks for playing. GLaD to hear you liked it. As for the final fling... there are more ways than one to get to the exit... whatever works.
Skyferret 19 Nov, 2013 @ 3:50pm
I'd have to agree with the others when I was smashing my face into the upper platform where the exit is. I would have done the same momentum increase as the others did in their videos if the fizzler field wasn't added. But at the same time, I couldn't seem to make it to the upper platform. I tried crouching also, but couldn't do it. As for the rest of it, I like the cube momentum thing. Took a bit of thinking. It all made for a good play-thru.
