Changing the SubtypeId to something different would completely eliminate the issue people are having with placing the block on both gridsizes, all while not in any way affecting models or texture paths.
For example, you can change
<SubtypeId>Small_Ramp_IR</SubtypeId>
to
<SubtypeId>Large_Ramp_IR</SubtypeId>
Funnily enough though, while Keen made their own take on the IH_Armoured window, and theirs is separated into end cap block and middle block for the window, Keen did not make a middle block for their hangar door.
@IronHospital, would you consider making a middle block for the large hangar door that is open at top and bottom, to extend DLC hangars?
