@Ceriax oh, that's in the original as well. heroes must be really high level (at least 15, i think) to charge past or at the tower like it's not there. and i'm only talking about tanky ones.

One thing I've noticed about this mod is that it seems to make heroes TERRIFIED of guardhouses, especially when they have arrows researched.

I was playing The Siege and it took a very long time because all of the heroes would run from a guardhouse the second they got hit with an arrow. I tried this with all heroes, even the less self-preserving ones like Barbarians or WoDs and they'd still flee immediately.

i think, only rangers and elves are true ranged units of the game, so probably only they should be kiting. cultists and rogues should be good with better hit chances (dps).

Kiting enemies is a bit broken for cultists, they specialize in a high speed attack, but your kiting method lowers their DPS, and when they transform into a bear, they become melee, but your kiting method still keeps moving them away as they attack. Might need some tweaks here.

@Avatar of Frost, tbh It edits many files and because it combines them into logical sections for the mod there isn't a nice 1 to 1 mapping. The mod files should be readable if you download it and just look for functions that exist in the mod and the base SDK

This mod makes me enjoy Majesty a lot more. You still have to keep an eye on wizards, but they seem to be melting a lot less often :cupup:

Other Improvements seems to mess with the spawning of Fountains.

now that the archers kite enemies, cyclops and rock golems can be solo'ed by level1 rangers!
they still die when there is a chance to hit, also change of heart spell

TBH, most of the changes are outside the scope of this mod, it was never intended to be a huge mod like Majestic. And there are plenty of mods that makes the game more difficult, although I have not tested to see if they work with this. I may add difficulty to this mod, but we'll see.

a mode that sometimes, lairs can drop epic quest items (the book the bell the candle)

since the ranged kites (by that i understand that they take distance after each shot) lower the attack points or attack intervals to balance the game

sewer entrances and grave yarrds has a rare respawn of strong creatures:
ratman champion and vampire!

maybe a noble's house after 10 or 5 houses existing?

i hope that this does not die like in majestic majesty
i ask for the arrow damage for buildings/lairs be reduced to 1~2 because you cannot break a brick with arrows

also, a difficulty mod where it raises monster stats or lowers them based on difficulty as well as prices

perhaps the possibility to put custom music to the game?

what about each market built peasants get 1 or 2 hp?

That's a good mod, it fixes a lot of annoying things, but at the same time it lowers the difficulty significantly. After all bad AI is the hardest part about this game.

What a wonderful mod! All ranged heroes are much stronger and finaly can survive. Didnt test the bazaar yet, but as i remember, all heroes went to refill potion every time after usage, and it was pretty annoying.

Sorry for the large number of updates, but it should slow down now as it should be in a fairly stable state. I will continue to tweak the AI and the Willpower bonus.
