On the none beta branch the tempurture and pressure settings for the superalloys are wrong. Also some instructions for setting up the hash display would be nice

Yeah, i made a "manual" furnace to try it out. Using that hot wastegas, store it in an insulated tank. same with "cold gas". Using CO2 and cool it at -150°C. So, if im not right at the temp, i can put in hot or cold gas to reach the temps. But your old code does not work anymore. the furnace stucks at 2MPa. Thats wierd.

Maybe u can fix the code, so we can upload it to the right IC10 - and its working like before. But i think, we need more of that this time. (the cold / hot gas system WITH your normal code)

@Fellpower the new "Alloys" Script should work for most of the alloys, like i said, im unsure about solder and constantan, Im trying to get it to work for super alloys as well but Waspalloy is really difficult due to the very high pressure and low temperature needed for that. I'll upload that script later. Waspalloy might have to be made a different way... adding cold gas to the furnace or something to cool it down, not really sure at the moment, i'll try to get that working as well.

In the Patch from 30.12.2020, they changed a few alloys / superalloys. Temps and Pressure. And if i put in the new values (eg invar changed), the furnace will never reach that high pressure of 18-20MPA. Or the temps - there not working anymore

@Fellpower I've had a look at 5/5 - Alloys and changed some numbers, Invar, Electrum, Steel should now work as intended, I am unable to confirm Constantan and Solder, as i am on the BETA branch, and they changed them further in that branch, I'd appreciate if you could confirm whether they are working? And, did they change the superalloys as well?

@Fellpower, I'll look into it, haven't had stationeers up and running for a few months anyway.

Hey Lasger. Im using your scripts and its working well. but now, the new patch comes and some temps and pressures of some alloys changed. now, the furnace is doing some wierd things. i changed the values (e.g. for invar) to the new given values (stationpedia), but the furnace is not doing the right temp / pressure. idle at 2k temp and 2k pressure. but not at 18MPa, as needed.
Can u fix your code plz? (my Gasmix is 67% H2 and 33% O2.)

having issues with waspaloy it doesnt want to cook it I can see that it makes it but it doesnt eject it in time and keeps stoking and venting instead can you help

@C4PTRAMPAGE thanks for pointing that out, i'll fix the guide soon. :D

ok so a few problems here

#1 in the setup guide it says to set the mode cpu d0 to the alloy / ore dial when it should say the cpu dial

#2 the setup guide for the settings cpu is almost completely wrong, but looking at the script i was able to find the right settings for d0 to d3

none of this is a huge issue since i imagine most would look at the script to find out how to configure the chips but the guide should probably be updated anyway

@Ruges i've updated the info in the collection overview, I hope this helps making sense of the setup.

Sorry if you had problems setting it up, I wanted to add some screenshots, but never got around to it, It's true that the standard furnace is very easy to set up for normal alloys (most of them) and the advanced furnace is overkill there, if i remember correctly the settings on the alloys and the metals chips are also all very similar, also when it comes to venting, the issue with the superalloys, are the ones that takes high temp and low pressure, there you need to vent FAST, to keep the temp up while reducing the pressure.
Im venting everything from the furnace to a holding tank, and when the pressure of the holding tank exceeds a certain number my filtration system kicks in, and filters everything to individual storage tanks (it helps cooling the gasses of a bit)

Was a little difficult to setup. the labeling on the ICH's made it seem like there are 2 dials, a switch, and 2 levers. but its only 2 dials and 1 lever. all levers go to the 1 lever and the dials are either alloy or mode select. also worked a little wacky when I was feading it reagent to melt down. kept on shutting down when I wanted it to smelt more. Overall it works pretty good. and its interesting the way you set it up. However I am not a fan of the advanced furnace to begin with. I personally find the regular furnace out performs the advanced furnace. With the regular furnace you can set it to 1 setting to smelt everything except Invar and super alloys. And you can keep it from dumping oxygen and volatiles into your waste tank. IE seting up a filter system strait out of the furnace to remove CO2 and X. instead of venting all gasses when reducing pressure.
