I have a question. Some maps seem to not have any flint mines near to the starting area. Is this random? I mean are the mines generated in different areas and amounts each time I start a new game? If I just keep starting a new map, let's say the Rich River map, will the location of mine deposits change or will it always stay the same?

this is a fun map ! However despite I worked hard I couldn't get the 6 hours achievement (the one when must research all techs in less than 6 hours). It took 5:57 hours for me to accomplish it but the achievement notification doesn't pop up...
I played in "tribe fun" mode. Is the scenario not compatible with achievements ? In that case is there some way to make it possible ? I'm not very good at editing game files...

Hey, Thanks for your feedback.
Had a look at Lake Triangle and found the whole map full of Oak Trees - checked Tribe Version - the Family Version has less on purpose.
The oaks also give Tannin (not only Fir trees - to be found on higher spots of the map as per custom config).

- The amount of Oaks depends very much on the scenario too - there are 4 versions - Tribe start for example uses the version of lake triangle with even more oaks - see also ingame scenario descriptions.


Check with the Work Area for collection Tannin you should find plenty!
(you can change size with the C button).

A really fun mod. Lots of food trees in the beginning but I really had to search the map in order to find tannin trees. I think I found a total of 6 on the map. O.O

Updated the raider config.
Raiders will appear in the Neolithic age in gradualy increasing numbers and shorter intervals during the following epochs.

地图大小:5,我建议你使用游牧开始,寻找一个你喜欢的地方。
有时有人加入以防止近亲繁殖。
提示和警告处于禁用状态,简单版除外。

There is no regular pause in hardcore mode. The game keeps running during primal vision instead of pausing.

WEIRD!

I started a new game and there was no option to pause. Only 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x speeds.
Tab'ing to primal vision animals and stuff would keep moving.

So I restarted and I can pause as normal.

Either a glitch or I likely fat fingered something.

Pause? If you play on hardcore you can pause the game by pressing ESC (open menu).

Tanks for telling me, there was an error, accidently uploaded Everwinter french text with the Bloodline ID. Reverted it, in case steam does not auto-download try to re subscribe again.

Was playing this map last night and went to continue this morning and its gone, no saves, no map showing up even though I unsubscribed then subscribed again, I love this map its the only one I play so hope it fixes soon.

Odd.

After downloading this it does not show up in the Community tab at all.
Verified files, unsubscribed, resubscribed, and such w/o success.

Is there a limit to the community tab?
I have 9 total map subscriptions including one of your flat lands scenarios.

okey, i was able to figure out what was going on. the bug is not your fault. its a developers oversight. there was an order to fish. but somehow i forgot to make fishing tools. so the fishing command just stood there, waiting to be finished. but there were no fishing tools. so they couldnt gather mud, cause the fishing order had to be done first. i write it down as a developer oversight.

okey, a small development, it only seems that certain parts of the river next to me seems to be bugged for some reason. at the far ends they gather mud, and at another river they gather mud, but the river directly next to my town they do not gather mud.

i encountered a pretty serious bug with your mod. the villagers dont fetch any mud. i know how to play. ive got at multiple spots fetch mud command, the spots are full of mud, the mud limit is set to 40, but they dont fetch it. i think it was the family run - rich river scenario.

The flying ore can be found on almost every map in the game.
All it takes is: a river, ore deposits defined to appear on mountains.

At certain spots the mountain will be replaced with a river and the ore deposits remain floating in the sky. Play maps without rivers to completely avoid it.

Regarding "dead horses you didn't get in different parts of the map" - no clue what you refer to.

you maybe need to change the graveyard milestone. I got the milestone with 1 cairn, 5 burial mounts and 1 dolmen. maybe change it :)

Hi! OFC! (Raider Config is in your steam folder). I've learned better than to go nuts on raider values after a single comment. For now, please adjust it to your own liking:

currently starting at line 254

If you play hardcore just set all hardcore_timer to 2y and the iron Age one to 5y and get totally wrecked:

I am not sure if I missed this but in the Easy No Raiders version I do not see any information about the severe lack of migration, are all your Scenarios low migration except the one that says its normal? I am finding without migration its just a slow death that really seems unrecoverable and not at all fun when your work load is a constant 600%

Beyond the severe lack of migration I am enjoying the mod. Was it intended to be a slow annoying death?

Haha :D I think it might be related to your hunting / taming task. This map is size 5, offiicial scenarios have map size 4 and I managed to loose people to taming tasks very far away in continental dawn. Maps are a square, your people are not able to leave it (or reappear on the other side), you can try that.

If people are thirsty / hungry they might wander to the next water source or fruits in summer / nuts in autumn if it is close - direction of your settlement has no limpact on that (They might never make it back, especially when winter is coming).

Hunt and taming taks should be auto cancelled if the animal moves too far away, but if it was very far as you ordered that task, that might not work.

Ive also had a weird bug, after a while i will get a message about a person has died of dehydration or starvation and they will be in a rocky area right on the edge of the map and then it spirals as then others go to get their gear, the first time it happen was after about 30ppl and last night it happened again after 108.
I first wondered if it was because i made my village at the back of the map and they might be going to a mine and walking off the edge and coming back on the map in the opposite corner but then i think i found the issue, i had issued a tame animal command and left them do it themselves (and this is purely a guess on my part) but when the animals despawn and spawn im wondering if the villager just tries to walk off the map to still try get the tagged animal?
Either way it`s ended my game both times

Hey, thanks for your feedback. Try it with the lowest settings you can set and see if it is related to your computer hardware. I think there is a reason why madruga limits population.

But maybe the raiders are stuck somewhere because of my *unique* design. Upload a screenshot of them please :-) (F12 ingame -> open steam library klick "View" (Top navigation) select "Screenshots". Upload it and post the link(s).)

hi there, really like your mod. plenty of resources to go around.

however, i stumbled upon a problem. once ive reached 400 civies, all kinds of bugs appeared. not sure if its because of your mod, but wanted to share anyways.

raiders acted weird first. they came 1 at a time, so i followed the trail of raiders, and saw the group of raiders at the edge fo the map. they were running on the spot, and only every few seconds one raider moved towards my village. a few moments later the same happened to my animals. just running on the spot and then they died of starvation.

Hey, nice idea. We had that in beta. But it is really hard and not safe without migration. People age 5 ingame years per season. They start at 16. So the initial pair of humans might have ~6 births before reaching old age.

The kids can get pregnant after 4 seasons when they reach the age of 20. (I think they still are born at age 0, hard to tell since the tooltip got removed.)

As you see you might have serious trouble when one of your adults dies or you have few births.

If you want to do me a favor please try it. The changes you request are very easy to do.

Delete some of the Humans and edit the names of two 16 year old humans.

directly beneath you can delete some lines for the outfits and tools

Make sure you only spawn 6 items there, because you won't have more available slots on humans.

Love the work you are doing here Schwifty! I have one request if its possible. Can you make a scenario for this mod where we start with only 2 people, like Adam and Eve. Together with the no migration would be perfect. I really enjoy a game with a much slower growth with a small tribe, where you have to struggle more and enjoy every small detail.

oh shit! thanks man for clearing that up. Glad I saved my previous game, I had my first ever game where things were going well and I quit because I thought I somehow disabled raiders.

@flickw As soon as the armor update is available you can use them with workshop scenarios too.
