using this to make a bridge over a river reverts to the vanilla bridge pillars. otherwise its really cool.

I added station track. But don't use it as a terminal station. Use it only as a through station for circle lines! You can only use it for stops. To spawn trains you still need a regular train station building.

That's good to know. Glad you like it :)

I found the why, Electricity Roads mod disables the lights actually, idk why. Amazing road i like it.

Well, i see the lights* but i don't see the bright. Why?

How to see the lights? do you need any mod? Even in the correct mode (elevated) i don't see nothing. No track, no lights, nothing.

I am SO confused; now that I made a super simple line with just a few tracks, both my tram and monorail tracks with stops are working just fine, and carrying lots of people. I give up lol. Maybe there's something finicky in the game like, you have to use SOME vanilla tracks as well, lol I don't know anymore. Anyway, I already said before how to make the station tracks. You can go check a station track asset (or one of mine with stops) to see what the typical ped path properties are. Train tracks are like monorails in that they're reversible by crossing at station track nodes, so pay attention to the direction flag. Add me if you have any questions. I'm working on other track assets.

It should still be worth to make a "station track" because even if we'll need to package it with a train station asset, the point would be that we can make a train station with the invisible or lit one. You just need to add pedestrian paths and choose a stop type in the lane settings, but I might as well make sure myself that it really is enough to include in a station asset now that I'm doing these tests, so I'll let you know.

@Dominik, I'm not sure anymore. My monorail tracks with stops had been working and I just did a test again and they seemed fine, but after adding more stops and even starting all over, they don't seem to be anymore. Worse, proper stations made the trains carry more people than what I had seen before, so maybe it isn't so simple after all and that's why this stuff hadn't been done before. But the trains did carry people when I only had a single actual monorail station, so I'm confused. Guess I'll have to keep testing, also re-testing my tram tracks with stops, and if it looks bad, I'll ask around. Maybe we really do always need a station at the stops. :/

thanks for the super tree reference! All I knew was that they're at Gardens by the Bay near the Marina Bay hotel. And thanks for the lightsless road!

Good advice, I will change that.
Ah no.. I didn't change that yet. I didn't know that I can change that simply in the settings.
Sp3ctre18 24 Mar, 2020 @ 4:49am
Ah, super trees! Thanks.
Call your other track the same thing; you want a name people would search for and "invisible" is the typical word everyone uses. Just add "with lights" to this one. Remember it's the FILE name you shouldn't change; workshop name is fine.
Well, if I asked about stops on it it was because I couldn't put stops on it. If you think you enabled on it, I'll check again.

Did you try using it for a station track? I think it should work, at least for elevated stations, not for ground.

@Sp3ctre18 This one is without lights, just transparent: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2033595040

@scrivej1, maybe if you can find out what it's officially called, you could find it. You're referring to the fake tree made of lights, right? Like a martini glass? I can't look now but it should be in my "future assets" collection. If not, then it would be in "new Waylie assets"

Great addition to my fantasy city! That tree building from Singapore! I've been looking for it. What is the name of the asset?
Sp3ctre18 10 Feb, 2020 @ 11:35am
@Dominik, how about doing this with a station track so we can put stops on it?
Sp3ctre18 9 Feb, 2020 @ 8:29pm
? There are already invisible roads out there. Just search
TwotoolusFLY_LSh.st 28 Jan, 2020 @ 9:37pm
can you make road version too? (2way out or etc more)
thank you make future version railway XD :hardhat::highlvl:
Sp3ctre18 20 Jan, 2020 @ 3:31pm
Btw, is there anything tricky or hard about making networks invisible? Not surprisingly, I want invisible versions of all transport network types. It's something I planned to look into doing myself later on, but I have other assets in mind first. Is it as simple as an empty model file, no file, or what?
Sp3ctre18 19 Jan, 2020 @ 2:48am
That'd be great. Actually the first time I wanted an invisible railroad was for a fairly normal thing, like a railroad on a road or something that I would have liked to detail myself. But now I do want it for the futuristic stuff lol. Anyway, thanks again, can't wait to try this out.
Nickayz  [author] 19 Jan, 2020 @ 2:08am
Glad you like it. It has lights, but I can upload a version without them.
Sp3ctre18 18 Jan, 2020 @ 6:38pm
IS THIS REAL? HAVE MY DREAMS COME TRUE? Been waiting forever for this. My current city is a super futuristic one so I will be needing this! Does it come with the lights like "air roads" does, or is it plain? I'd prefer plain but one with lights would be cool too.
