JSON code I'm not too familiar with, beyond tinkering with existing code (I had to figure a way to get the log book in my survival game, because the 2nd battery for the ship managed to de-spawn somehow)? I understand it follows similar rules to HTML, but beyond that I've very limited experience.
You mention collision boxes being off, though, if I've understood right? From my other modding, that sounds like it could be a modelling issue, perhaps, so maybe new models would help? Drop me a DM with a few details (model format, etc) I'll see if I can get my brain round it :-)
(This might be a long project, as I'm physically disabled, so don't get to my desk as often as I would like to at the moment - but I'll give it a good go)
As I understand it, Axolot completely revamped the formatting of the JSON part properties, but left compatibility for the old ones so mods don't break. However, they didn't bother enough to I guess fix old hull collision compatibility. The collision is just artificially extended, and cannot be shortened because it will break the code. I have tried. I haven't yet tried revamping the whole thing to the new format, but I'm afraid it won't lead to anything but wasted time.
You may friend me, and try to help. I will appreciate any help from anyone. Thank You
What, exactly, are the problems you're having difficulty solving? Maybe I could help? Probably not, but I used to be a programmer back in the day, even worked on mods for Quake and Minecraft tweaks, as well as some rudimentary modelling, so I have a gist of the basic principles.
Given the love you got from Kan and Moonbo for this mod, I'm surprised nobody's come forward. Have you reached out to either Durf, or Fant? They seem to be able to work with the current game core, so maybe they can help if I'm unable? It's probably worth dropping them a message...
I tried looking into the problem and solving it, but without help I am lost, and nobody out there is so far willing to help or explain anything to me, or the general public.
Thanks for a great mod, though - even though it is, now, dead :-/
really hope they become a vanilla part of scrap.. opens for so many crazy ideas :)

thanks for making it possible.
