This MOD works very well, I like the violence aesthetic, soldiers will cut off the hands and feet of the enemy during the battle, which is also very true to the battlefield

The mod is not broken. It is working as intended. The death animations are functioning properly for heroes and regular units. For what I see, there are no 1vs1 animations for regular units as in Rome 2, so they "poke" each other until there is a death animation.

Please check to see that this mod is actually broken before spamming the comments with update requests. It probably works as-is.

Hello! I've been away from my PC for a while. This mod might complain to you about being out of date but it's highly unlikely that CA will have made any changes that make it actually not work. I'll do my best to keep it up-to-date but I'm not able to do so for 75% of the year, so please check to see if it's actually broken before spamming comments.

And removing the parry and block animations would be a joke as I would argue that those are even more important than death animations. Tell me what's more unrealistic than a soldier taking 20 hits with blood gushing out yet still standing?

v It's possible that the game accurately portrays blocks and parries, meaning that if the game rolls a miss, a parry animation is played. If this is the case, then removing the parry animations does absolutely nothing as no damage is dealt either way with that swing.

Is it possible to only have death animations ? Like no mid way defending. Just Straight up dying. This would help make battles faster. I personally think they're quite slow in my opinion...
