Would u ever consider making a version of this mod that effects the just the dragons(so they have riders) regardless of having the SOA mod?

Is there any way to disable dragon riders for normal dragon units? It essentially disables the normal dragon alternative skins from Varied Monsters Compilation

Unfortunately this conflicts with the Battle Standard Bearer mod. I am not invested enough since WH3 is coming out soon to do it myself, but a compatibility patch is needed. I find BSB a mandatory mod but will still use this sans Silverin Guard as that is the only issue that is having the animation issues. I am wondering though is all it takes to make it work - would be a quick snip of Silverin Guard edits for BSB? If so I might make a patch for it for pedantic reasons. Its not like HE are suffering for spear options anyway and I am going to play Yvresse where its even less of an issue. Regardless I really like this mod and hopefully you continue it into WH3 whenever Mortal Empires rolls out. If it is still an issue then and I have not made a patch I will probably make one/or multiple in the future.

Do not mix this with banners mod, silverin guard is not animation compatible.

My silverin model doesn't have a shield. But an other mod is overwriting my own land_units table, forcing the shield and spear animation. Which is not mine. Have try with only this mod one.

If i could chime in as a fan of your work, Xoudad...Butterlord said that the "issue" with the Silverin Guard is that they HAVE NO SHIELDS...although they act as though they should. It is a bit strange. Stranger though, as mentioned by Butterlord, is that the spears for the Silverin Guard, do float. I pretend its some sort of magic at play to not make it seem so strange. IN the end, your mods are free, and wonderful, and if you opt to leave the Silverin Guard as is, that is most definitely the choice of the creator. Thank you for all that you have done to make thie game my favorite of the Total War series!. :friendship:

There are some unit in the roster that will cause ctd when playing custom battle.

Yes it’s just textures, it doesn’t need updating. I’m working on fixing tex, so I’ll update it soonish.

Texture shouldn’t cause CTD, just visual bugs, and yes some tex need to be fixed since last DLC, I’ll do it when I have a bit of free time

think this portion of the mod requires some updating/fixing. Having issues with a lot of overlapping texture files on units.... which i think might be causing some CTD

Still have issues with the noble of yvresse having an invisible waist, the sergeant for the yvresse archers is invisible and the textures are messed up on the sergeant for the spire guard of tor yvresse. I've had the SGoTY sergeant either be flesh textures or random overlapping mixtures of textures. All the rest seem fixed thank you, good work as always.

The Spire Guards for Yvresse seem to be bugged with 'face' textures on their armour. The Skyhawks have invisible bodies as well. I deactivated all mods but the main mod and this one and I'm still experiencing these problems. Thought I'd let you know as your mod is borderline essential for me when I play HE.

In the texture pack, VariantMeshes/wh_variantmodels/hu1d/hef/hef_silverin_guard/hef_mistwalker_(head/body)_##.wsmodel should be VariantMeshes/wh_variantmodels/hu1d/hef/hef_mistwalker/hef_mistwalker_(head/body)_##.wsmodel. I think this is what is causing the issue below

@G3n0c1de Ok, apparently the problems I had before with this mod was that I just had too many mods active at one time and there appears to be an invisible mod limit that I hit which must be a bug that was added during some patch after the Shadow & The Blade because this wasn't a problem before. So nothing is wrong with the mod its just CA broke their mod manager with an update. :steamfacepalm:

@leif90 he's gonna need more info than that. How are they affected? Where is the conflict, exactly? Does the issue happen if you're running a clean setup with just Sons of Asuryan, this texture pack, and then just one of those mods?

This mod conflicts with the beautiful compilation mod as well as the beauty mods that alter Allariele, Khalida, Morathi, and Helbron as well as well as the Sotek faction re-color mod and the Knights of the Empire texture mods so you kinda need to pick and choose if you want those mods over this one.

I have finally found out what happened... these two mods (Sons of Asuryan - Texture pack + Sons of Asuryan - The return update) cannot be packed with Kaedrin's mod manager.

I mean... i got 99 mods and all worked before you generated this one so i added it and i missed to see all units on the battlefield.

I tried different combinations and realized that even if I got 4 or 5 mods working and packed them this one was done.

So, I have been "forced" to pack 98 mods so they took "one place" and selecting these two latrer only.

So now i got 3 mods operating: The pack + Sons of Asuryan - Texture pack + Sons of Asuryan - The return update.

Hope all is clear :)

@thaygiaomap2000: there must be some conflict with other mods or i cannot explain... since when Xoudad released this texture-only mod I cannot play the main one anymore even if I use Kaedrins' mod manager

CA Mod Manager does it also. But it is limited for 40 mods at once.
