Tyrant: Sorry, but I don't really read comments, so I missed yours. Someone else warned me about it by opening an issue on GiyHub, so I fixed it. Thx, anyway.
About RW 1.6, I'm not sure about it yet. Need time to see where we stand. Can't really promise anything.

@renegade_sock I think shooting through windows can be OP with the mod but consider too that they can be shot through. You have to create rooms within your bases that don't have any in order to assure no one shoots in. And you can also get around it being OP by not using it for kill boxes, as its better suited for bunkers (which can be overrun, the windows aren't that strong!). For the base design, QOL, and overall feeling it adds its worth it, not OP.

Does this mod make the game quite a bit easier? I'm a bit concerned that being able to shoot through windows is pretty OP against melee pawns and it seems like a potentially easy way to improve beauty and lighting with no real downside or meaningful cost

Could you please update the GitHub for this mod? It shows the last update as March 31.

Also, would it be greedy to ask for preemptive 1.6 support on the unstable branch? This was the mod I was waiting on before playing 1.5 and now 1.6 is almost upon us.

I love this mod, but there is a problem I'm noticing: melee-only enemies will continue attacking picnic tables while getting pelted with bullets. I wonder if there is a way to adjust pawn AI to make them prioritize windows over other buildings (but not colonists) if they take damage.

Having occasional issues where the tile of the window contains its own temperature that can be EXTREME depending on the situation.

Had a window that kept violently combusting, learned its because it retained heat from when it was on fire and remained at a constant 774F until I reconstructed it lol

@Jpptrs - I can confirm that it's this mod that has Harmony logging still switched on. Please switch this off and re-upload the mod to disable the report spam we are getting. Thanks

When tested, the Windows don't let the view through. At least in CAI-5000.
Also, it doesn't seem to interact with the Expanded Roofing mod as described by the mod. Neither the roofing material nor the 'ugly shadows' changed.
In the list of mods, Open The Windows is below Expanded Roofing. Maybe it's not supporting Expanded Roofing (Continued) by Mlie. Please fix it:steammocking:

@莫名某某 Thanks! Yes, they are also integrated. Check the Compatibility Notes . About the fog of war mods, I have no idea. You'd have to ask them. But normally you can shoot and be shot through windows when they're open.

@莫名某某 It's already compatible. From the change notes for v2.4:
- Added support for ReBuild: Doors and Corners: windows will require their glass material to build, but the glass-producing recipes will require Glassworks research. The illuminated areas from windows and glass walls won't interfere with each other and retain their distinct effects.

If they want seamless windows, they can just adopt them from owlchemists mod and make a fork themselves.

We are 4 now who want seamless windows. Atleast add an option to have them seamless. Windows arent supposed to be completly differently painted and composed wall segments with the window in them.

I am running the latest steam version with all dlc active. I am aware that the mod is only for 1.4 but it technically can still run on 1.5 regardless of potential flaws. Thank you for choosing to look into it.

Glad to see this mod has updated.
It's a great addition for me though I do believe that it has a soft incompat with dubs skylight despite stating it is integrated. Save/loading causes skylights to revert to 50% light and need to be uninstalled and rebuilt in order to function at the actual setting level. Owlchemist's fork does not have this issue so I reverted back to that for now.
