how do i place it on the ground its not in the menu

to place it on the ground you must click shift and F2 and this combination of this two keys will open a menù and in this menù you can put on the ground the base

How do I actually place it on the ground without it hovering?

Open a spaceship manager (button on left side of menu) > Tap Build > Tap on SpaceEngine tab > SHW Habitat Inc (tap on it) > MarsBase (tap on it) and tap build.

Planetary bases in Space Engine? Wow. Certainly excellent for size reference since most terrain features lack differentiation at scale.

Is there documentation anywhere for creating buildings/structures? Couldn't find anything in the SE forum or site.
