Bro you do understand that you can just make a new discord account and they aren't going to give a shit right? It doesn't even care if you use the same phone number you had for the original one if you do have to do phone verification. You can make them with gmail accounts or just use a temporary email website. It takes like a minute.

It is also easy to create a new Discord account. Huge overreaction on your part, and you've decided to respond to Discord's decision by doing something that does not affect them whatsoever. It literally makes no sense whatsoever, and the only people you are harming are the people who actually supported you and your work.

Sad that you decided to move on, but politics don't have anything to do with Rimworld and shouldn't have been posted to a Rimworld modding server anyway. There is a time and place for everything, unfortunately that wasn't it.

Likewise, it doesn't make sense to quit modding because of something Discord did. Discord has nothing to do with Rimworld or its community. Your reaction is akin to a child not getting his way and deciding to take his toys and go home.

Just stumbled across this... Shame to lose a modder, but the PSA is blatantly fishy (just consider the wording and context) and some of these comments just go to show how gullible people can be and why companies like Discord feel the need to add these policies in the first place. Take it from someone who has shared plenty of COVID coverage on the platform, they don't just go after someone for nothing.

Here's hoping the break has given you some time to reflect.

What discord did to you is happening across the net and the powers that be are foaming at the mouth to spread the censorship into the real world. There's too many people that still can't see whats happening or even paying attention.. So the powers that be will likely get what they want. In this generation or the next.

This seems to only inconsistently work with Vanilla Expanded weapons. The gauss rifle and pulse shotguns do an extremely low amount of damage compared to other weapons that are obviously affected by this mod. However, the pulse sniper (from the same mod group) frequently instakills pawns if two or more parts of a burst hit at once. Is this a known issue?

I believe that this mods makes cats (and probably other small animals) extremely dangerous.
Just had my sole colonist bled dry by 2 munchkin cats' (from Vanilla Animals Expanded, manhunter pack) scratches.
Every single scratch produced a big source of bleeding - like a gunshot. There was not a single "small" bleeding bleeding wound.
Although funny, this is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure that any adult human being would be able to fight off 2 mad cats.

yep i've been using death rattle and yayo's combat as an alternative for a few hours now, not all the features overlap but it does give a better combat experience than just head/torso reaching 0hp and imploding so easily even clad in power armor

I've enjoyed using this mod together with Pawns Just Don't Die plus Death Rattle and Life Support. Net effect is that some pawns DO just die -- but for an actual reason now! In a way, it gives more player agency. When one of my pawns with a heavier rifle shoots out an enemy's heart, liver, lung, etc., with a little timing and luck, I can choose to rush them to my prison hospital and put them on life support. Thank you!

@Full Richardings; All this mod does is change the percentages on body parts and the hediff effects of received damage. It does not effect the output of the damage.

Does this mod make any changes to melee at all? (As far as combat mods go) I'm using only this and suppression and I'm noticing a weird issue that's super prominent with prisoner Berserk events - when they fight they're hitting so fast its like they're equipped with a chainsaw and they're always instantly downing my pawns and auto-destroying doors. And they're not augmented - saw a 14 year old girl do it! I'd prefer not to go through the painstaking process of restarting with every mod turned off (I have 30 pages worth of them currently) or if this mod isn't the issue and anyone can point me in the right direction to look I'd appreciate it.

Also I love this mod regardless as it seems to scratch the itch of better fire fights without the incompatibilities of CE :steamhappy:

This mod does not change death chances at all. It's a Vanilla thing, that pawns have a chance to auto-die when they're downed. It's actually a Vanilla feature now too in the custom difficulty settings, however I still do use CustomDeathRandomness. I set the chance to 0%.

Dr Zhivago, thank you for this mod. I’ve been reading the comments, somebody said that this mod makes it very difficult to capture pawns due to them dying, and you suggested CustomDeathRandomness mod to tweak it—do I understand it correctly that DocPawnOverhaul changes the vanilla chances of instant death when downed? Also, could you please suggest a setting to use for CustomDeathRandomness if you played with it?
