Can't put spiders in it unfortunately... You can still pick up spiders and put them in the bag like a regular backpack but the spiders inside the sack are their own separate entities unfortunately

Also is it intended or am i just doing it wrong but i cant seem to get any other spiders inside the satchel other then you normal spiders. Maybe this bug happened after the new update idk.

I recommend adding config on the price to make (the one rn could be normal pricing) and the amount of spiders that can be held in 1 bag. If so that would be very grateful!

Why not instead of making your own standalone mod rather than updating this one, considering this version is still fun, why don't you make It able to be changed, like an option for changing between the things of the old and new version, the perish time, ect.

It's not a complete overhaul, but rather just a re-balancing. Since the addition of nurse spiders it's become super easy to gain an absurdly large army via the satchel, so we've changed the spawning system to be points-based instead of capped based on each individual spider type. There are also new assets coming out alongside a few misc changes! I'm just debating if it should be its own standalone mod rather than updating this one, considering this version is still fun to use, at least to me :)

Aye we're still working on it! Spritework from the (newly rebranded) Axelocke has been completed! Just working with the good sir ADM to finish off the mod. Debating uploading it as a new mod all together or just updating this one, but regardless, ADM's relatively busy with other projects, so I do apologise for the delay

but its nice to have a backpack that doesnt slow me down and have a spider related look :)

It's taking much longer than anticipated, so apologies for that. The good gentlemen ADM and Axelocke have kindly offered to help out this time around, however ADM's got a hefty workload already with his Cherry Forest mod (Just hit a subscriber milestone) and I don't want to burn him out. New assets, concepts, and functions are all finished, it's just a matter of putting it all together! Thank you all for your patience! :)

Is there any chance you could keep this version up when you update it to rebalance? I really like playing with this since maintaining spiders are a little annoying, especially with the manners thing.

silk satchel was a type of backpack right..?
can you fix the compatibility of this mod with other backpack slot, they kinda i mean, the silk satchel go to body slot instead of backpack

"Also, another thing to note, due to Webber's re-work being released this mod has (unintentionally) been made a tad bit overpowered with all the changes that have been made, which never really was its intent. It will be undergoing some tweaks and changes in the near future! In the meantime, enjoy how absolutely absurdly broken it is :)"

Yep! Nurse spiders are most certainly being added, however we're just struggling a little with how many is too many... Don't want this mod to be absurdly broken, so they'll most likely be exclusive to a tier 3 satchel, but we just don't know yet.

I'm excited! Seems like they've given spiders a little more combat use. I get the idea from the notes that the new way to play is to kit out your spiders and try to keep them alive for as long as possible without needing to fight yourself, and you can clean up the rest. Still doesn't solve the problem of having too much silk late game, or spiders being fundamentally useless against AoE enemies like deerclops (Although I imagine you COULD with some thule crowns on your spiders, but that would take a LOT of resources) still, seems like less of a re-work and more of an addition of content which I'm happy for :)

And in the case of this lil' mod being extremely buggy with others, there's not a whole lot I can really do about it. My coding knowledge is non-existent unfortunately, and Electroely is off doing his own thing

The Satchel can be upgraded to the next tier using 5 silk and a nest. Can't go any higher than the 3rd tier, but each tier allows for a larger capacity, and new spider types :)

my game was crashing bcs of this mod, so i tested all my mods and discovered that it is incompatible with Additional Equipment (fixed), DST Storm Cellar, and Automatic Sorter, idk if it's any useful, but you should look up the code and see if there's anything that is causing all this incompatibility.
