That sounds pretty awesome actually. I dunno, I might take a look and see how much effort it would take. I haven't modded SE in nearly a year now, usually once I start modding a game, I stop playing it because I'm burnt out on it.

It's got some neat things, though I could understand why some people might not be ok with spending the money on it. The part in question is interesting. While I can't say I'm a fan of the model it's using (looks a bit too sci-fi considering the rest of the DLC look more post-apoc themed), it has the option to respond to power consumption. So if you're just sitting there, it barely puts out any particles. But if you suddenly accelerate it starts spewing them out like a fog machine.

Doubt it, but if someone wants to make a patch or something, be my guest. I haven't even got around to playing the new DLC yet.

Now that we have a functioning 'exhaust' in vanilla DLC, any chance of adding the same functionality to the exhaust pipes in this pack?

Love this mod. Came here looking for exactly this kind of thing. All ships look too blocky without some sort of "greeble" as you call it haha. Some ideas for you to kindly consider:
Small grid grating/ventilator, cables/power cables, exposed machinery/gears/cogs, antennae (car-like), wipers for cockpits lol? "Refueling" nozzles, like on airplanes/cars, even if kon functional in space engineers, "bumper bars" like on old 40's cars would look great. Ropes/winch cables, little outside emergency stowage box for small grid (even if unusable). Just some ideas :)

I am working on making a grabbable version of one of the handles. Most of the problems involve fighting Keen's code etc, so that's something to look forward to.

Great, great Mod! My ships and stations are now festooned with handholds, etc. We need more accurate "space stuff" in SE. More Zero G items would be great.

I checked it out, looks like an easy addition so I'll see if I can get it in this week. I'm thinking maybe the full constructed/painted handles will be grabbable, so I don't need to add another set of blocks.

When I get inspired, more greebles to add to this one. Other than that, I'm putting together a collection of ships I like from the workshop as planetary cargo NPC ships, and also a mod to add cargo hauling contracts in (like where you have to physically move a cargo container from point A to point B).

I was thinking about exhaust pipes actually, maybe a corner piece, a straight piece, and and an en piece. Could get multiple uses out of them I think. Good suggestion! I was also thinking about grated armor type pieces, because this whole idea was mostly from Mad Max vehicles anyway, so we'll see.

this is gonna be a specific use block that I suggest, but it's as simple as one big spike or multiple tiny spikes and multiple variations to fit the sides of slopes or other blocks.
and yes, i got this idea because these blocks look like something from a post-apocalyptic game/movie like for example: Mad-Max. Also exhaust pipes and chimneys for factories and stuff.
