Awesome! I'll take a look.

Thanks much for the heads-up, DjPorkchop. I've fixed the link in the description.

The website linked to is all white, no content. Any chance there is new links or the website will be fixed?

This is awesome! Could you do the merged route that danny made for this era please.

Hi Railfanner, it's quite simple and I used the same "trick" that allows scenario authors to include repaints in their uploads. The only prerequisite for an upload is that all used assets are located inside of the store DLCs' Provider/Product folders. The upload checker in the game does however *not* check if those (individual) assets are actually part of the DLC itself, or if they were added by the user later on (like a repaint or my asset pack for this route).

How did you publish a route with assets not on the steam store to the workshop
hayward.john48 9 Jul, 2020 @ 6:28pm
Excellent job of backdating with a lot of attention to the details. I like that the combine harvester is working in the opposite direction. Road vehicles are 1950s (often ignored by backdaters).

Thanks Michael, perhaps it's to boost sales!
GreatNortherner  [author] 8 Jul, 2020 @ 8:22am
@hayward.john48: That London DLC is absolutely *not* needed (I don't even own it myself!) I have no idea why the Workshop added this to the requirements.
hayward.john48 8 Jul, 2020 @ 8:21am
Why does this need the London Marylebone -Aylesbury dlc when the Hi-Line doesn't?

It's most likely on the forums, bt I don't have acess to them. I haven't find anything on RWA regarding logos about Montana Hi-Line. Just the Racetrack.
GreatNortherner  [author] 15 Jun, 2020 @ 1:03pm
I don't know about the BNSF logos. Check RWA, if something exists it is most likely there.
mali_buda 15 Jun, 2020 @ 9:21am
Also got the F7 working it's great!
mali_buda 15 Jun, 2020 @ 9:20am
Also GreatNortherner, is there a fix for the BNSF logos on all locos for the non-US version?
mali_buda 15 Jun, 2020 @ 9:08am
Thanks, I'll look into it.
GreatNortherner  [author] 15 Jun, 2020 @ 12:19am
Hi, the DTM F7 is available at RWA. There's a direct link to the download page in the readme PDF for the Empire Builder scenario you can find in the "scenarios" section above.
mali_buda 14 Jun, 2020 @ 3:27pm
Hey GreatNortherner where can I get the F7? The site now is just full of ads. It says that DigitalTrainModel is for sale?
OldAlaskaGuy 28 Jan, 2020 @ 2:47pm
That was my conclusion.
GreatNortherner  [author] 28 Jan, 2020 @ 1:06pm
@rwaday: The only reason why I'm not using the Empire Builder DLC (besides a nostalgic fondness for the good old DTM F7s that date back to Rail Sim) is that it's not available outside of the US. The models in it are of course top notch!
OldAlaskaGuy 28 Jan, 2020 @ 1:01pm
Thank you for the group effort in getting the lighting and number bugs out. I have replaced LordMannu's F7s with the ones from Empire Builder Pack 01 for the drivers train and left the original ones for the AI. Reasons: 2 Person crew, gyro light, and in my opinion better sounds.
GreatNortherner  [author] 28 Jan, 2020 @ 7:21am
Thank you for the kind comments!

I have just published the template scenario for those that want to create their own scenarios and updated the instructions above accordingly. A new version of the F7 patch is also available for those who had the issue with the missing number textures -- many thanks to Buzz at RWA for figuring this one out.

I’ve both the route when it came out to support, I subscribed this to play. ;) thanks for creating the most enjoyable content again and again.
jimsinclair56 26 Jan, 2020 @ 11:01pm
GreatNortherner, Thank You for your prompt reply -- much appreciated! :-)
GreatNortherner  [author] 26 Jan, 2020 @ 2:35pm
@jimsinclair56: That's correct, this version is a seperate route. It won't change or overwrite the original (modern day) route or any of the original assets. Thanks for asking -- I'll add a comment about this to the description above.
jimsinclair56 26 Jan, 2020 @ 1:55pm
GreatNortherner, this looks wonderful and thank you! Before I install, I just want to ensure this will NOT affect the original (modern day) route? I'm assuming I'll have two separate routes after installation; the original route, and your backdated route, correct?
GreatNortherner  [author] 25 Jan, 2020 @ 11:41am
@rwaday: A fix for the missing number textures on the F7 repaints is available in my physics update here: http://golden-age-rails.com/freerw/railveh/DTM_F7_Simulation-Fix_GN-passenger.zip -- please redownload/reinstall if you have a version older than Dec 15, 2019.

The link to the original Alco S2 pack is this: http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/engine-repaints?view=document&id=1961:alco-s2&catid=18:engine-repaints (I'll add that to the readme right away, thanks for the heads-up!)

Merci beaucoup GreatNorthener
Zawal.........:steamhappy:
OldAlaskaGuy 25 Jan, 2020 @ 9:51am
The locos in question are the F7, also where can I find the original S2 pack by Mad Mike.
OldAlaskaGuy 25 Jan, 2020 @ 9:30am
I am having an issue with the scenarios in that I have missing textures for the numbers for the locomotives. I am enjoying this route.
GreatNortherner  [author] 25 Jan, 2020 @ 12:25am
@rwaday, no I don't think so. The two Kuju Railsimulator(US) can be enabled but the route should run without them (I haven't tested that). Other than that, all assets are in the VNHRR\HiLine tree, including the new ones from the add-on pack linked above.
OldAlaskaGuy 24 Jan, 2020 @ 8:09pm
Do you need to enable any specific assets for this?
