so i actually think this has something to do with pathfinding cause the lag is only present when boats are moving, I have lag spikes with not only diplomats but also vikings. I think the game struggles to path find the boats.

wish this mod would get updated, specifically making it to were there is less lag especially for world sizes over 150, imagine playing on a 300 size world and same lag as base game, definitely my favorite mod!

Anyone found a way to fix the lag yet? I got a sick map when I set it to size 300, but I cannot play because it starts lagging realll bad around day 140 when viking raiding parties get to a decent size.

It works, but lags when using large maps (over 150) and AI kingdoms/vikings, due to AI path-finding on a non-multi-threading game. A mod to resolve this issue has not been made yet.

I was just gonna ask, why do all islands default to the minimum number of shallow tiles? I'd like a wider range of shallow around each island.

PSA: There is an issue where the pathfinding really chugs-out the game on the largest map sizes; mod still works just be carefull with maxing the map size.
