Hey Havie, if you have some free time, could you please make a compatibility mod for this? 'MTU/TUP Unique Models for Unique Characters'.

Not sure if that has been addressed but the binding fury skill doesn't trigger / no animation.

@Havie It's all moot anyway. even though i can now start a new campaign without a CTD, or even with both your skill mods disabled, MTU for me just isnt showing most faces. Most characters are greyed out.

@havie as i stated I saw the comment from 30th March saying that, MTU slow in updating?

also 2 pages back , Beans posted a fixed version of the MTU pack if u wanted to make this work and arent a modder

This is not currently compatible, is the issue on yours or MTU end? With this mod enabled, the game crashes upon starting a new campaign. Without this mod, game runs fine no crashing. Tried your mod in various load order positions. Saw the previous comments on 30th march, been no update since then?

Load order probably over writes this, my base skill tree mod is set up to scale differently bydesign

Hmm I'm using this mod with MTU and Radious. In the MTU leveling mod after level 3 I should be getting 3 skill points per level. But for some reason installing this mod I only get 1 per level

cant update without the author of MTU making some changes to the base pack.
They need to remove skill tree links for all DLC06 Han characters like wei yan etc for packs to be compatible

are there plans for an update?

Yup that works fine with TUP, but i hope this mod will be extended to new TUP characters.

FYI if anyone is interested in using Havie Improved Skills with TUP, it works because TUP 's Puzzlecore is based on MTU, so this MTU comparability patch works. A small number of brand new characters in TUP don't have the expanded skill tree but otherwise it works fine.

Since TUP is the new hotness in character art (2d and 3d models) I thought I would share my load order:

Implements the changes @Havie and @loose-moose pointed out below. Tested and working. Just overwrite that baby in your Steam Workshop local files (google if you don't know where that is).

Hi Havie, I'm trying to implement the fix for MTU you listed below, and am new to using RPFM. I can't seem to find character_skill_links; can see character_skill_level_details and character_skill_node_links for example, butnoghitn that says character_skill_links in that order. Should I be modifying zase_skillset in character_skill_node_links_tables?

Okay Guys- I figured out the conflict but I do not have a solution. The fix must come from MTU. Ive reached out to Illustrator.noob and Ill see if he can facilitate the change.

For those savvy enough to do some modding- heres the solution:
-Open MTUs pack underthe workshop (lady_bian_FLC)
-go to the character_skill_links table, open zase_skillset sub table.
-Delete all entries for WeiYan,XunYou,ShiXie from here.
-Save the pack as .movie in ur 3k data folder and disable the workshop MTU
-launch game

The reason for the conflict is MTU has for some reason added in a copy of the vanila data_ for the skill tree links between tables. I normally overwrite these to change the pathways. too many links to a node and the game crashes. Since MTU is adding the back I cant change the paths to match the design of my base mod

dang this crashes, I was hoping it would just not apply to the new MTU characters but all others would work. Lets hope for an update for this awesome mod. Thanks to PikaMan and Havie for their prior work on this.

I don't have an MTU patreon so I have to wait till illnoob releases it to the public or someone sends me the pack

if they crash, run both packs as "movie" . More info on that can be found in the threads on the base skill tree mod .

@navox yeah ur getting that bug from trom. they must move his skills around, im interested in supporting a trom add-on , well see if i get around to it. I have alot of other mods in the works right now

Gave Li jue into the breach instead of horsemanship, fixed a bug where most MTU chars had 5 battle skills instead of 3.

Hmm not sure what you mean by twice? He has it only once in the top row, 2nd from the left.

I do not use TROM, so maybe the issue is there?

found something that might be a bug? i used this in conjunction with your other mods + TROM and MTU and Zhao Yun has "Elemental Vigour" twice, though only 1 will work.

182 is broken for all startpos mods i believe something is wrong on CAs end with AK
