You can, but that’s still nowhere near the size for OOT. I’m not at my pc right now so I can’t promise this is correct, but I remember it being upwards of 80mb at least.

There is supposed to be music. I believe the workshop also compresses the map with the built in compression tools upon uploading the file.

If the map didn't properly account for a workshop upload, such as precaching the soundscapes it can also cause player freezing between loading zones as it attempts to load a new soundscape. It will also lower the quality of sounds as well. While the workshop is nice it has been less than ideal for hosting. But it's nice if you are looking to take credit for something at the very least.

As for the default limit on downloads, going off memory I believe you can set 'net_maxfilesize' in your server config to something higher to allow them to download larger files.

Hm, considering I haven't noticed any music in the map I'm assuming it's broken, if there is supposed to be music to begin with. Anyways, it's the only way I could figure out to get the map on the server working (due to its massive download size that would both take forever and exceed the default limit on downloads) without using a custom site hosting it elsewhere, which I don't have the technical know-how to do.

As far as I know, hosting maps via the workshop breaks soundscapes. Does the various music on Hyrule still work as intended for you on the server?

Server ip is: 198.143.145.202
Just if you doubt my word.

I mean, I do it for my server. Right now it's running the Ocarina of Time map off the workshop because it's just a massive file. I don't get why more people don't use the workshop, as it basically just increases the download speed of maps and helps out the client in getting in-game faster.

Can you explain this weird technicality? It's rare these days to see anyone running server maps via the workshop. By that I mean "workshop/123456" as the map name. The last person I saw re-upload someone else's work made this same claim, but their server was not running it from the workshop at all.
