Does it apply the walk and levitation perks?
Yaddah 7 Jul, 2024 @ 6:17am
It seems like when you're in oil and the legs touch the bottom ground, you're almost completely immobile and can drown easily. Even with the Breathless perk you instantly come to a full stop, once your legs touch any ground under oil. As soon as you get off the ground, you can zoom through the oil pool with Breathless again. Very weird interaction. Wish I could modify this mod so that it doesn't do that.

@IvanCGray i don't think so, it's such a shame too, without the crashing/lag this would be one of my favorite noita mods :(
4 Feb, 2024 @ 3:19am
Did the lag and audio crashes on this ever get fixed?
RAYARK_avalon 23 Dec, 2023 @ 8:19am
it doesn't work in 2023 years... we really need this mod!!!

DeathKeed--
Usually when the Lukki Mutation perk is chosen, you still have the ability to levitate (or, fly). Muscle memory, as well as the fat that W activates flight, means that you'll end up flying when you don't need to, which messes with the mechanics of the arms a little. This mod prevents that from happening by replacing flight with something more suitable for your new spider arms~ :HappyShade:

Anybody know what the mod change? The description is somewhat vague
Helldriver 2 Oct, 2023 @ 9:30am
One of my favorite Noita mods, it makes the perk very fun to use. An update to address the lag appearing would be hugely appreciated.
nonorm 19 May, 2023 @ 12:44pm
it gets incredibly laggy but man it's so fun, if not for the lag and leg length not changing it'd be a flawless mod
Szmaka 9 Apr, 2023 @ 5:55am
doesnt work
BloodyBane 8 Jan, 2023 @ 8:12pm
Super fun mod, always pick it when I can cuz it's more stable than flying, and I can just use a teleport want to move anywhere my legs can't reach, but sadly it does cause an escalating amount of lag the longer you play.
I'm just a layman in coding, but I've had games that got ridiculously laggy despite not having this perk on, and I can't help but think there's an error somewhere filling the buffer causing lag after it's stacked up enough.
Saving and quitting every 10-20 minutes is pretty annoying, but it is still very fun to use, and isn't the worst thing that could be happening.
Poimon 1 Nov, 2022 @ 10:13am
what does this mod do?
Saphira 2 Feb, 2022 @ 10:56pm
it doesnt work for me
Soup Time 20 Nov, 2021 @ 6:10am
It doesnt work. I dont spawn in with all those perks
lord.riker 15 Nov, 2021 @ 2:03am
Also getting a lot of lag from this mod. Hopefully it gets a fix!
ThrasherGX 16 Sep, 2021 @ 4:43pm
Can confirm that this mod causes lag after around 10-20 minutes of gameplay.
Have to constantly save and quit to fix it.
RubADuck 16 Aug, 2021 @ 10:11pm
Sadly I had to remove this mod from my mod selection because it caused massive lagg for me.
I use it in combination with selectable classes, maybe that was the problem. I liked the mod before this happend^^
Shootgun 18 Jun, 2021 @ 9:56pm
Can you add a config that changes how fast the leg attacks enemies? I kinda dislike how you have to dance around a enemy for 4 seconds to get a leg attack in.
Skymy 17 May, 2021 @ 8:58pm
Open it and replace false with true, right?
Riley 23 Mar, 2021 @ 1:59am
it still has the attacking limb, i dont know what u talkin bout
Skyrocitor 16 Mar, 2021 @ 2:05pm
I forgot to mention in the last comment, another possible trade off for the jump would be disabling the vanilla kick and assigning it to that button. I rarely kick things when I'm sticking to walls anyways so it would be far more useful in my opinion.
Skyrocitor 16 Mar, 2021 @ 2:03pm
Absolutely love this mod not only for letting me see the leg animation more and changing the way I navigate my environment entirely. There is no up or down, only surfaces that can be used. Also I could never see the vanilla one working so it effectively made a perk I saw as worthless into one of my favorites.

If I had one suggestion, it would be to add an option to enable a jump. Not the hover that you have by vanilla, but rather something that utilizes the arc of the potion throwing, perhaps even something chargeable if you have the room to pull back on the legs and spring forward. That way it would still be a trade off from the regular hover ability, but you wouldn't be completely stuck if a a gap is too large. I like explosions, but sometimes I get carried away and create some larger than intended spaces, not to mention it makes navigating some of the side dimensions difficult even before they start melting.

Just an idea, but I love this mod either way. Great job!
Lucky Femboy 16 Mar, 2021 @ 11:09am
is it possible to make the limbs attack and do this same movement?
Lemonhead  [author] 12 Mar, 2021 @ 6:18am
@Hobo in Kmart: There is a mod called `Enable Logger` which will dump what went wrong in a `logger.txt` file in the same folder containing your `noita.exe`.

If you want to send me crash logs, the most convenient place for me would be on discord where you can send me complete files. My user is Lemonymous#6212.
Lemonhead  [author] 11 Mar, 2021 @ 12:49pm
@Da Mage: Don't worry, you're not annoying :)

To be honest, I was half expecting (hoping) they would change the vanilla Lukki Mutation to be more like this mod, so I wouldn't have to keep updating it.

If they have changed it now, I will take a look at it when I have some time. I can't promise I will be able to sort the crashes, but I will give it a try.

If anyone have any information about when and how it causes the game to crash, that would be much appreciated :)
SirKibblesnbits 11 Mar, 2021 @ 11:30am
annoying subcriber here! here to tell you that the lukki mutation has been updated by developers (at least in the beta branch) and you should update this mod so it doesnt make things crash! :isaac: i just love this mod so much!!!
Crimsonblod 3 Mar, 2021 @ 9:58am
This is causing random audio crashes, and total game crashes, so I ultimately had to remove it as well. Otherwise, I love this mod. But I had the same issues as @Joku lyhyt , and all my crashes have stopped entirely since removing this mod unfortunately.

But as far as changes to lukki, it's AMAZING. I just wish I knew how to fix the audio/crash issues. Lol.
Akyet 22 Feb, 2021 @ 11:29pm
Removed my previous comment about this causing performance issues. Saw other people saying similar things and thought this mod was causing it. After messing around and removing other mods etc. I found that it wasn't this one causing issues. Awesome mod!
Cthulhulou 17 Feb, 2021 @ 9:52am
I just picked up the leggy mutation for the first time and wanted to fix it. Is that part of this mod yet?
bites you bites you bites you 15 Feb, 2021 @ 12:05pm
@Joku lyhyt that literally sounds like a memory leak
Ehkä se oli Raku 14 Feb, 2021 @ 1:04am
This mod make lukki transformation really interesting and fun perk but I have some kind of a problem with it which slowly make the game more unstable. First I start losing sound and then fps starts dropping. This is fixed by rebooting the game but then the steam cloud sync takes a long time. I think the mod makes the code "bleed" somehow and this causes problems when my computer cant keep up with the "data" anymore. I don't know anything about computers but this line of thinking seem to explain the problem for me :)
LaytonGB 4 Feb, 2021 @ 2:19pm
Please enable this for the Leggy Mutation also! Thanks.
cool_man_robert 28 Jan, 2021 @ 3:48pm
probably one of the best adjustment mods out here
Fruit snoot 6 Jan, 2021 @ 12:57pm
Great mod and cool change but beware as unfortunately this mod seems to cause some sort of sound bug at present the longer its active in a game
thefatherfigure 30 Dec, 2020 @ 3:33pm
hey why doesn't this mod work at all? I was looking forward to using this
sentry gaming 20 Dec, 2020 @ 8:28am

sentry gaming 20 Dec, 2020 @ 5:47am

sentry gaming 20 Dec, 2020 @ 4:37am
wellp this is not working for me...
R4skall 19 Dec, 2020 @ 8:19pm
seems like the disabling of flight is vanilla now, really wish there was a mod that allowed you to not have your hover completely disabled with lukki
Ladydelina 9 Dec, 2020 @ 7:28am
THIS IS AMAZING
Lemonhead  [author] 23 Nov, 2020 @ 3:18am
@Veezora: Yes, this is a known issue that I unfortunately don't know how to solve.

@Lemmington & Rocky: It has been suggested before, and while a good idea, I have no current plans regarding it.

@everyone: On the beta branch of Noita, lukki mutation has been removed. Rumor has it they are reworking it. Until it becomes known what they are doing with the official lukki mutation, I will hold off from doing any updates on this mod.
Rocky 22 Nov, 2020 @ 11:39pm
Have you considered doing an identical mod for the "Leggy Mutation"? I love this mod but the Leggy Mutation doesn't seem to function the same as the Lukki Mutation when this mod is enabled.
Veezora 21 Nov, 2020 @ 3:43pm
This is a really cool mod! Makes the spider legs feel properly alien and imposing.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned previously however, and apologize if this has been addressed, but with Lukki Mutation, jump and hover are also not usable in polymorphed forms. This can lead to instances where you polymorph, fall into a hazard, and are unable to get free again.
Nihilifex 13 Nov, 2020 @ 4:31pm
@Lemonhead I think it may just be the game's controller scheme. I have adjusted it through Steam and though it's not perfect it seems to do the trick for the most part.
LetTheMossReclaimYou 12 Nov, 2020 @ 8:56am
Could you modify the Leggy perk from the leggy mimic to also work the same way?
Lemonhead  [author] 11 Nov, 2020 @ 1:17pm
@namor: If the perk is received before this mod applies the changes, you will get the vanilla lukki. I believe that can happen if the perk is given by another mod that loads before this one.

@Sloth: I don't think I will be able to disable the walking animation. It is a side effect of toggling an option that makes the player think it is walking on ground when the legs are attached to the walls. It may be possible, but it is beyond what I know how to do. Maybe someone on the Noita discord would be able to help you do it.

I also don't know how to add custom button inputs to have the legs let go of the walls unfortunately.

@Omnifex: That is odd. The up arrow is supposed to move you upwards. I don't know why it would not work like that for you.
Nihilifex 10 Nov, 2020 @ 8:33pm
This is such a great mod. One thing, however; I'm wishing you could simply use the up arrow (or control stick) to move upwards, rather than the levitate key. Is there some way to add this?
Sloth 4 Nov, 2020 @ 3:56pm
also adding an optional button to have the legs let go of the walls and let you drop would also be a very cool addition
Sloth 4 Nov, 2020 @ 3:50pm
as in disable the walking animations on the wizard, not the limbs
Sloth 4 Nov, 2020 @ 3:49pm
could you add configs to disable the walking animations some time? I would very much like the feature
