Hello Thales, might be stupid but where is the button for the anchor?.

Update 2 Jan 2024:
- Converted to floatplane by removing wheels for realism. You can still access the old amphibious version that has wheels: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3128705204
- Overhauled wing and floats
- Increased vertical stabilizer area
- Reduced total weight
- Some other tweaks

+rep for thales as a whole he is very cool builder i love his planes, my favorite is the Grumman goose-21
Ohh god the voices! 5 Oct, 2021 @ 1:25pm
As a Colombian with family tradition in the military I really appreciate the creation, seeing how we used them to defend Leticia from the Peruvians in the 1932 war. Thank you for the awsome plane
Vlask 25 Feb, 2021 @ 10:12pm
yup
Thales  [author] 25 Feb, 2021 @ 3:50pm
Were you using it in classic career?
Vlask 25 Feb, 2021 @ 10:01am
this needs to be updated, the old gear box has been removed
m3 5 Nov, 2020 @ 4:01pm
k
thx
the fuel trimming thing doesnt show fuel in the tail
{trimming tank if i recall correctley]
i allowed it to pump
Thales  [author] 2 Nov, 2020 @ 9:44am
@m3girlz,
Don't pitch up early on when you are not fast enough to takeoff.
m3 1 Nov, 2020 @ 8:48pm
the dang thing wont take off on water
DrakeTheMystic 9 Oct, 2020 @ 8:05pm
I find 16.50% elevator trim to be perfect for level flight now in good weather
DrakeTheMystic 9 Oct, 2020 @ 7:52pm
Thank you
Thales  [author] 5 Oct, 2020 @ 4:47am
Update: Added automatic engine throttle reducer when its temp is over 114 Celcius.

@DrakeTheMystic,
It's still possible to takeoff without enabling reduction gear (burns more fuel). You just need to let it gain enough speed before pitching up for takeoff.

Also even with enabled reduction gear, fuel consumption is not high. Check fuel consumption instruments for expected flight time.
DrakeTheMystic 4 Oct, 2020 @ 4:41pm
thank you
Thales  [author] 4 Oct, 2020 @ 12:12pm
Thanks for report. I'll check the issue.

Updates before v1.0 was more stable, now it feels unstable. Each of the last two updates broke most of my vehicles and I had to update some of them twice. It started to become tiring.
DrakeTheMystic 2 Oct, 2020 @ 4:45pm
in the new update I think they srewed with the engines and now you can only fly this aircraft with the thing that uses more fuel in exchange for more power I forgot what it is called but also it will overheat and the engine will set on fire at the moment it will not fly well for me I really like this aircraft so it would be amazing if you could fix this problem thank you for hearing my complaint
Yamnuska 31 Aug, 2020 @ 10:17pm
would be cool if the images weren't black / white only
Thales  [author] 19 Jun, 2020 @ 7:53am
Update: I removed the gyros because they are 10 mass each now instead of 1 mass before.
Broccoli 14 Jun, 2020 @ 8:41am
Thank you so much for bringing my favourite aircraft and in its floatplane version to Stormworks!
Inept 17 Apr, 2020 @ 6:50pm
Under the wings you forgot to color one peice of the german flag
KasperKRZ 16 Apr, 2020 @ 2:52pm
ok
Thales  [author] 16 Apr, 2020 @ 7:58am
Wedge covers 1x1 area while gyro covers 3x5 area.
KasperKRZ 16 Apr, 2020 @ 6:20am
i thought wedges were the lightest blocks
Thales  [author] 11 Apr, 2020 @ 7:44am
No
BlueKnight230 11 Apr, 2020 @ 7:40am
Is there a top hatch ?
Thales  [author] 11 Apr, 2020 @ 5:09am
@cdgplayz,
I suggest "Replace Color" tool in the editor.
T-34 Chan 11 Apr, 2020 @ 2:08am
This is my idea of the perfect aircraft in Stormworks. Also can you maybe make a version without the historic livery so that people can just add their own custom liveries?
Thales  [author] 9 Apr, 2020 @ 1:02pm
@FireCat17,
Gyros are the lightest blocks. What do you propose for replacement?
KasperKRZ 9 Apr, 2020 @ 12:19pm
it might fly better if the floats were not filled with gyros
Thales  [author] 14 Mar, 2020 @ 6:27am
@CaptainSpeedbird1974,
Yes if you link this page as your source.
Illegal Prime 14 Mar, 2020 @ 5:07am
Hey can I make a repaint for my multiplayer group?
JUST_ANOTHERPLAYER 14 Feb, 2020 @ 3:42pm
Suprisingly stable aircraft and the only plane I have ever succesfully landed (I'm horrible at landing planes in StormWorks so this is a huge compliment in in my logic)
Thales  [author] 10 Feb, 2020 @ 7:19am
@Doodels
Mainly water fins push the floats off water. I used gyros because they are lighest blocks.
Peppie 10 Feb, 2020 @ 7:14am
Why is the float made out of gyros?
Peppie 10 Feb, 2020 @ 7:13am
How did you get it to behave like a proper float plane? Most of my planes nose over when on water.
Sir Arthur Wellesley 5 Feb, 2020 @ 7:48am
not gonna lie this is a lot better than the normal land version :D
Alpha 5 Feb, 2020 @ 5:34am
3D model and the plane inself are amazing!
Tmccanna 4 Feb, 2020 @ 12:11pm
could also just look at the top. wouldve thought someone like you would be sharper
Frantic 4 Feb, 2020 @ 10:43am
Can you take your profile off of private or share a workshop link pleas? :DD
Thales  [author] 4 Feb, 2020 @ 6:41am
Update: Now you can swap the propeller (near the swing propeller button) in order to reverse on land or water.
Thales  [author] 3 Feb, 2020 @ 1:07pm
@jshmccanna,
Because there is no need for radiator and fluid hoses for it created extensive air drag.
Tmccanna 3 Feb, 2020 @ 1:03pm
nvm it sometimes gets stuck
Tmccanna 3 Feb, 2020 @ 1:03pm
also i cant unfold the bed . it stops at like 20 degrees out
Tmccanna 3 Feb, 2020 @ 1:00pm
also why is there no working radiator
Tmccanna 3 Feb, 2020 @ 12:58pm
its like they sacrificed the comfort budget for the tech and floats. its a cool plane. much more high tech than the last one
FireFrost 3 Feb, 2020 @ 8:48am
Awesome Design Man , Great Work !!!
Blacknoel 3 Feb, 2020 @ 8:18am
love it
